I would be just fine with that. As long as he came cheap.

well, there went Forte. Rumors are Hayward might be heading to Chitown and Perry might be heading to Seattle to replace Irvin

im fine losing Hayward. I like him but ill take the comp pick because he will price himself out of GB. I do want Perry back though.

ya think he regrets not signing the multi year deal offered 2 years ago??
I dont because the word is he had a very acceptable deal on the table that he walked away from so I think he just wants a break.

Packers interested in German wideout Moritz Boehringer, per report

Green Bay Packers general manager Ted Thompson searches far and wide for the best draft prospects. However, that pursuit has heretofore extended only to North America, until now. According to a report from NFL.com, the Packers have shown interest in German wide receiver Moritz Boehringer.

Boehringer has played gridiron football since 2013, participating in the German Football League this past year with the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns. He earned GFL Rookie of the Year honors after catching 70 passes for 1,461 yards and 16 touchdowns. Boehringer's highlight reel shows him lining up both out wide along the boundary and in line as a tight end.

However, Boehringer has more to offer than just production in a foreign league. He measures in at 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, rare size for the position. Better still, the wideout ran the 40-yard dash in 4.39 seconds and registered 37 inches on the vertical leap. Those prodigious physical traits could land him some workouts and, perhaps, an NFL contract.

Still, the German receiver faces long odds in his pursuit of an NFL career. Few expect a team to select him in the upcoming NFL Draft, and he may need to try out for a spot on a 90-man roster. Still, with the size and athleticism that Boehringer offers, he has a chance.

Boehringer worked out at Florida Atlantic's pro day alongside draft prospects like defensive tackle Trevon Coley and corner Cre'von LeBlanc. In addition to the Packers, Boehringer has garnered attention from the Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos and Minnesota Vikings.

Nate Palmer was released today. Getting mighty thin at ILB with CM3 moving back to OLB

Its an obvious target in the draft. My guess is we take 2 since we have 9 picks.

gotta think about the O line for next offseason as well. 5 pending free agents on the o line as well as a few holes on the d line. It'll be an interesting draft this year

Im confident we let one of either Sitton or Lang go and resign Tretter to fill in.

I think Sitton will be gone. Possibly Lang as well. I think it's going to take a good chunk of change to resign Lacy after his monster year this coming season

How much money does Green Bay have under the cap? Carolina just pulled the franchise tag off of Josh Norman. He sure would look good in a Packer uniform.
