BTW guys, with how long this draft has taken - and the looks that it should finish up today, I need to tell you - I'm gone starting this afternoon and won't be back until possibly Monday. If voting happens this weekend, I won't be able to vote for or against any one - nor defend or explain my team. Not saying it shouldn't happen - just saying that you all will just have to survive without me.

Lets try and finish up and start voting tonight

I had stats for every team so people could compare - but I am not gonna have to time to post them all. Maybe when it's over y'all get to see them. I took career, top 5 and top 1 seasons and combined the production to come up with the numbers (since no one could just stack up on any one era, the numbers look more compatible with each other. Hitter used OWAR and bench is quartered - pitchers used WAR to decide which seasons were used.

I had it going real good until a couple rounds ago. So, no one's team but mine is completed - but given a couple hours I could have all the teams done and whatnot. I just don't have the time right now - as I am leaving for the weekend and will be away from internet connections most of the time. I'll post the rest next week.

I wish I could post it all right now - since it would show that my offense is actually pretty decent (about middle of the road) but my pitching staff is just filthy.

The classroom I help teach in has 5 girls and 2 boys. Those girls are driving me insane. They hate each other, then 10min later best friends. I will have to protect my girl from all the boys but luckily I have a boy already so he can help protect his sister.

Lets try and finish up and start voting tonight

Let's see how many holidays/events we can pass while doing this draft.

Halloween
Election
Veterans Day
Thanksgiving

Most of us have only 1 pick left so no reason we can't finish the picks by today.

All you old bastards talking about your kids. I really want a boy someday and I want to teach him baseball (that was the sport I always loved to play) just like y'all but with my luck I will get 3 girls and they will be into figure skating or something :laugh3:

I wanted a son bad, but I can't imagine being happier than I am with a daughter. They are awesome, although since she is 3 I doubt there are a lot of differences between the genders yet.

I know my mom hates that I bought her a bunch of toy tools, but I think gender roles for toys for children is fucking stupid. Also studies have shown that those kind of toys help in mental development, and they are by far her favorite toys of all time. Although I am slightly disturbed about the amount of time she is pretending to amputate my foot.........She is warning my fat ass about diabetes, or she is a serial killer in the making.
