Saad did center a few shifts after Handzus went down for most of the 2nd. I'm sure we'll see more of that bad idea as Q watches ice time.

As far as Bollig starting, the Caps were dressing Erskine and Wilson. If one or both of those spots weren't used for them, Q wouldn't have dressed Bollig. Hawks had the matchup advantage going into the game and Oates decided to gamble on a bigger, more physical lineup while giving up skill. If Bollig dresses in Washington in April, I doubt both of those two will be on the ice. Q had the luxury of submitting second. Oates was already dressing 2 dumptrucks.

I didnt get the new rule. If you are gonna fight, one guy has a shield and the other doesnt, both guys are supposed to take off their helmets and get another two minutes in penalties and risk busting their skull open on the ice?
