wrong again. Tent was out for the Jets game. Guess who started at LT? Nske. IM not saying he was a bad pick. I just thought Williams would have been better for the future. We benched RG3 b/c he couldn't run Grudens offense. It was the right move and now we have a potential star in KC.

Dude... have you ever actually PLAYED the game of football, or coached it for that matter?? In the event of an injury to the O-line in game.... why the FUCK would ANY team all of a sudden move around THREE players to try an adjust for one injury?? So according to you, when Trent got injured, we should have

1. Moved Scherff to the LT position
2. inserted Long or Ribey next to Moses

So basically lets make a line that just took an injury hit twice as weak??

IN game Injuries, you do as much as possible to NOT go shifting multiple players around. But you stick to that man juju you got for Williams and Moses. Reality is, I wouldnt be overly shocked to see us beef up the interior line a bit more and Moses end up a backup. Because while he played decent at times, he wasnt shutting down ANYONE.

Trent Williams was not a in game injury. He was ruled out before we played the Jets. You are so wrong about Moses. He is the guy who should be getting the credit this year not Scherff. From what he came back from the lisfranc injury and he played at a high level in year 2. Moses a backup?? Are you on drugs!! The only beefing up we need is at center. You actually want to draft another guard after we got two in last years draft?

Premise still stands. In game injury or late in the week scratch... why in the FUCK would you switch around TWO starters??? EVER?? I get it you have had a jones for Moses from the moment he was mentioned. But reality check... IF he was that good why didnt they SWAP HIM to LT and bring Nske in as a RT to cover up for that Bum Scherff??

Oh please Shark. You are saying Scherff made the success of KC and the offense? You are crazy. Moses shut down pass rushers, how does that have anything to do with Scherff? I did write off Amerson b/c he was an awful tackler and kept blowing assignments. Big deal if he playing well for the Raiders. It wont last long. He is not better than Breeland or Culliver.

Scherff shut down pass rushers too. Just saying. They were a very good tandem this season and will be for years to come. Now we just need a center to get the entire line to gel.

You don't write off any player after two years. It is stupid. If you can't see releasing Amerson was stupid, you have issues.

Im not talking about Amerson. I agree with your other points gk. Shark there is no jones for Moses. Moses proved that he will be our RT for the future. Moses made this line this year b/c he has to block edge rushers where Scherff did not. The RT is more stressful than RG. Especially on a young player. Moses is the guy who stepped up this year from our oline. He plays TACKLE. A very tough position in the NFL. You give him no credit whatsoever. I find this astonishing.

MOses got the start because LONG showed he could not block inside rushers and the decision was made that we were better off with Scherff at RG and Moses at RT, than Long at RG and Scherff at RT. Moses outplayed two guys that when they stepped in our line got worse. That is all.

Williams did nothing special. Scherff played every down except one. The down he missed was because he had to put his shoe back on. One of the greatest OLineman in Redskin history was Russ Grimm, a guard. Oh he was drafted as a center. Does that make him a bad pick? If the Redskins got a starting guard for the next 10 years it was a good pick.

Mel Kiper just wrote and article stating the Redskins got the most out of their draft out of all the teams in the NFL. I didn't see where he said the draft would have been better if Scherff started at tackle.

Shark you are denying the story that Scherff got his ass kicked in training camp at RT? Moses great play in training camp earned him the RT job and it moved Sherff to RG. The organization wasn't counting on Moses winning the RT job.

I hope Scherff is a future Pro Bowler. But Moses gets no credit on this board and he plays a tougher position than Scherff b/c he has to block edge rushers.

Moses played well this year. Are you happy now? Can we stop this foolishness?

Hmmm. Not so sure that is correct. The reports I read was the move for Scherff was made because it made the entire line stronger. It's foolishness to say Moses beat out a rookie after 2 weeks of training camp. Every rookie looks bad those first few weeks, as they have major adjustments in speed and playing level the need to get accustomed to. You can't project what a player will ultimately be by those first 2 weeks. Don't be surprised if Scherff ends up playing tackle at some point in his career.

Scherff got beat out at RT by Moses. It has been well documented in training camp. Long was the worst performing lineman in camp so Scherff took his spot at RG. Their was no way the 5th overall pick was going to get benched. They are not going to move Scherff to tackle. Why? When you have Moses who is the better tackle. I have come to terms that we drafted a guard at #5 overall. The only thing we need now is a center and the line should be complete.

Read into it what you like. Shcerff is a more talented player. The fact that Moses actually shook the Red Sea nick name was a good thing for the team. But the move was all about putting the best five on the field. Moses was a little better than average, but thumping the chest over him winning the RT spot because Long sucked at guard is silly. Glad your man crush played out for Moses.

So moving forward, who is this years must have player in your opinion??

You are so wrong dude. Sherff failed at RT that is why he got moved to RG. They gave the 5th overall pick every opportunity to win the RT job and he didn't. Moses beat him out. Then Sherff beat out Long for the RG spot. That is how it went down.

Must have player in FA would be Mack. He will solidify the o line.

Shark is correct. Scherff was drafted because he could play RT or G. You are correct that Moses won the RT job but he didn't beat out Scherff for it. He beat out Spencer Long as being the lesser of two evils. That being said, Moses did play well at RT but the truth is by draft position alone Scherff would have started at RT is we had another good guard.

How did Moses beat out Long if Long is not even a tackle? Scherff got embarrassed at RT in camp. Nobody can deny that. That was the reason why they moved him to the RG.

Follow the line of thinking. Scherff was a superior player to Long and Moses. Scherff was starting, period...he was taken at #5. Moses was a better tackle than Long was at G. Or, Scherff exceeded the abilities of Long by a greater margin than Scherff exceeded Moses.

You also claim that RT is a harder position to play than G. Pay for guards are equal to pay for RT suggesting they are equal. The truth is...LT is the most important followed by center.
