I don't really like this for Houston. Diggs is a drama queen. They've got a nice up and coming team, including some nice young WRs, and now they are introducing potential problems into the locker room. He's always been this way. He was recruited by VT (went to Maryland) and even then I can remember stories about how he was self centered. He publicly goes on about how much he wants to win but what he means by that is the team has to win by giving him as many touches as he wants. If he's not getting touches, he's constantly causing passive aggressive problems regardless of what the team record is
1 year $19M and then can get out With no dead money. Or if he works out they can have him relatively cheap for as many as 4 years. I think it’s pretty fair all around

Had a feeling Diggs was gonna force the issue. Funny thing is I think he downgraded in every way.

He’ll miss Josh Allen. Stroud’s nice, but he ain’t Allen.

Huh? Houston appears to be the better team presently constructed.

Buffalos window opened and closed with no rings.

I mean Stroud is in his 2nd year so sure and Diggs isn’t in their long term plans. Stroud is already a better pure passer but Allen’s threat of extending plays is a big factor in WR’s getting open. We will see truly what Diggs has left. Stroud is a magician in the pocket but no Allen in extending plays. Mahomes is only above him in that category.

Reminds me when Hill got traded and he said Tua was as great as Mahomes. Life isn’t always better

Mixon has been one of the least efficient starting RBs in the league the past few years and he's nearing the end. DIggs is waning a bit. Even Hunter is getting up there. Texans spending big on some older bandaids IMO.

This is how you know the Bengals are the sheriffs in town. When others get excited over their leftovers lol.

The Texans make all this work bc of the Stroud pick, plain and simple.

I remember you saying the Texans will contend for another top 5 pick last year.

So lets revisit when we see a healthy Browns team.

Yeah most of those guys seem past their prime. I will say they have a good mix of young talent and veterans though. It comes down to Stroud essentially and he looked pretty damn good without Dell. Add in a healthy Dell and Diggs. Give them a great pass rusher and it looks good on paper. I won’t knock them for the moves.

But I think Keenan to Chicago for a 4th is better than Diggs to Houston for a 2nd. They overpaid.

I don't like this move for the Texans because it is pretty clear that Diggs is a locker room cancer, and it seems like they have a very good young nucleus, so it is an unnecessary risk IMO.

But from a PR standpoint, it is probably gold, as every football fan in Texas is jumping on their bandwagon now after all these years of Dallas losses.

Jerry Jones said he was "all in" but his actions say otherwise, while the Texans are truly going all in this year.

These moves all look good on the surface, but just about everyone the Texans brought in was someone that wasn't being actively pursued by their previous team (or being outright jettisoned). Some of that is about money, but not all of it.

I thought some of the moves, like Joe MIxon, were weird. But bottom line is they are pretty loaded now, if they can keep the locker room together.
