Excellent question.

I mean you to have to bring up the stats pre and post Brady.

Keep out the Cleveland train wreck, but his time in New England only.

Who made who?

He might be past his time at this point. He was undeniably a HOF coach and transformative to the sport on defense...

He is not that guy at all today. Still a very good defensive mind to be sure, but it's a very different place from the early 2000's or even the 2010's, and his way of GM regarding offensive players doesn't work unless he has a Brady level QB.

Belichick got too much power. I still think he's a good coach but the man can't draft or make personnel decisions to save his fuckin' life, yet the org. seems to have granted him authority on all of it.

It seems strange that the afc east struggled with QBs outside of New England during the Brady era. It seems like the dolphins and the bills got long term solutions at that position while the patriots do not. That’s a huge deal.

Meanwhile a great coach like Gibbs wins 3 titles with 3 different quarterbacks

He's not the greatest of all time.

Andy Reid is the greatest head coach of all time.

Andy Reid almost beat Belichick with a fat retarded QB. When Bill had Brady. Bill was even cheating at the time.

Sure, apparently every great coach needs a franchise qb

Belichick is a great DC, average to below avg coach and a lousy GM

He needs to stick it where the sun don't shine and watch the F up!

I think Sonny you need to send your squad to his house....My apartment complex is getting creeped out with those SUVs hanging around

BB's own words.

"He's the greatest coach in the history of professional football, clear and simple. Everything I do today, Paul Brown did. It all started with Paul Brown."

Article from pro football talk (11/23/19)- Bill Belichick proclaims Paul Brown the greatest coach in pro football history

Every draft we get to hear how great he is because he accumulates picks. He has too.
He is the best, Matt Millen 2.0 Smart grabbing N'Keal Harry over bums AJ Brown and Melcalfe. Jonnu Smith and Nelson Agholor were great FA picks and JuJu is looking great, Jacoby Meyers smart move

Probably a bottom 2 GM in the league right now. Baalke in Jacksonville is kinda bad, too, but he seems to have lucked into Trevor Lawrence and out of Urban Meyer. With Brady bailing I think even he saw that Belichick the GM was a hot mess.
