IDK, I don't see envision Moehrig lasting until No.41 but I'd be all for Oregon S Jevon Holland at that spot.
Maybe Cincy S James Wiggins on day 3.

I'm not the least bit interested in any of the other S in this class (Grant, Nasirildeen, Cisco, Hufanga etc.)

My List would be

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah
Trevon Moehrig
Jevon Holland
James Wiggins

I expect Owusu-Koramoah and Moehrig to both be gone long before we pick at No.41 but should either last to that point then you draft them.
You are probably right on Moehrig. Actually I think I would take WA Elijah Molden in that spot and let him be a hybrid Slot CB/Safety.

Big possession guy that has some YAC upside that might be available late day 2 or day 3.

The "what if scenario" .
The GM likes him more than any other S and feels he changes/enhances/elevates the S position which in turn projects to make it better for the CB.
Moehrig is surprisingly sitting there in the last 3 picks of round 1 - it will cost you 2021 pick #101 and maybe 2022 5th round, do you trade up to draft him ? No scenario waiting for 2nd round because you want 5th year option.

BTW at least two S have been drafted in every single draft since 2011 but two ( none in 20211 and none in 2020)

not too difficult to figure out that the former Lions LB is looking at Buckeye LB as possibilities. Togiai put up 40 BP

The Lions special assistant to the owner played at Ohio State before becoming an All-Pro linebacker for the Lions. He took along TE coach Ben Johnson to the Buckeye pro day.

NFL Draft: Ja’Marr Chase nailed pro day even before amazing 40 time (usatoday.com)

Chase’s remarkable 2019 season wasn’t built on breakaway speed. Instead, it was Chase’s ability to just absolutely bully cornerbacks. He’s a smooth mover off the line of scrimmage, which didn’t necessarily lead to a lot of separation but allowed him to get into a position to box out defenders and make contested catches. He was basically the DeAndre Hopkins of the SEC.

Therefore, the big question is not whether Chase can run away from NFL defenders, but rather: Will Chase be able to bully NFL defenders the same way he did at the college level?

That will obviously require elite explosive athleticism, and well…

2021 NFL draft: Studying Ja’Marr Chase against Alabama (usatoday.com)

Ja’Marr Chase.

If you need to be reminded of what the LSU wideout can bring to the NFL, this is a perfect game to watch. Why? Because he was matched up against Trevon Diggs for the most part, a press-coverage cornerback who was drafted in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft by the Dallas Cowboys. When Chase was not seeing Diggs, he was usually working against Patrick Surtain II, who might come off the board in the top ten of this year’s draft.

If you need to be reminded of what Chase’s NFL future looks like, this is the game to watch. Let’s dive into the epic clash between Chase and Diggs from this legendary contest:
