I thought we had 7 picks but we only have 6 so I will have to forgo the 2nd WR.

So far here is where I am at:

7 WR Waddle AL
41 S Moehrig TCU
72 DT Tufele USC
101 TE Long BC
112 LB Werner OH St
153 OT Little Stan
That would be one helluva haul to start the rebuild.

Any explicit reason as to why you'd select TE (homer pick B.C. ?) in this draft and that early ? I don't know anything about Long.

The following TE would probably be there late, late day 3. maybe UDFA. also used as H-Back/FB in goal-line situations. idk

TE Nick Eubanks

For nickel/slot CB, I'm extremely interested in Wash U Elijah Molden but Michigan's CB Amby Thomas could provide inside/outside possibilities.

only if they'd pick up a couple extra 5th round picks and IF he'd still be available. Might be a good replacement for Kerryon. Good hands out of backfield and missed a year due to academic eligibility issue. Harbaugh misused this kid and had a shitty O-Line that couldn't open up a running lane if they wanted too.

WR Nico Collins

Those are some damn long arms for a WR. Probably why the bench reps are so low

I’ve been thinking we’re drafting Pitts for awhile now.

Bigger and faster than Golladay...

I'm not sold on the Jets moving off of Darnold and drafting another QB. That O-Line is atrocious minus Becton who's coming off his rookie season. I sure could see them drafting Wilson.

Jones sure does fit the Shanahan mold/type

Falcons most definitely the biggest wildcard. They're pretty set at LT, RG and McGary at RT might be a question mark. WR Gage and Ridley both are young and they're too deep in money owed to Julio as well as M. Ryan also for the next couple years.

Darnold didn't get a fair shake in that horrid Gase offense and Wilson gives me a Ryan Leaf vibe, but he's getting a ton of hype.

I agree with Jones fitting Shanahan mold and I don't think Shanny will want an RPO guy(Lance/Fields). The Shanahans fought pretty hard for Cousins the traditional QB over RG3 the RPO guy

I really dont know much about Eubanks. Not sure we need an H-back. Did we resign Cabinda? I like Long and think he could add value but if we get waddle then The TE is not as important.

damn that's a lot of receptions for a TE in his final year. for B.C. especially.

does this kid have any blocking ability @Old Lion
He is 6'5 255 and a decent blocker to boot. Just a good all around prospect. Not a homer pick either. I went to Bryant not BC. Go Bulldogs!!

I have the problem as I am 5'9 and have 33.5 inch arms. I had to leave him out since we have been picking up WRs left and right in FA. I would love to have him though.

my guy for o/1 tech. not a sack master but he controls his gaps and gets his hands up for PD. Pretty damn good lateral agility on tape.

unless NC-St NT Alim McNeil falls into day 3
If Tufele is not there for us in day 2 then either of them would do nicely.

I could honestly see this happening and if so, I'd still expect them to draft one of the small slot WR (either of the Moore, Eskridge, Rodgers, Newsome etc).

We did re-sign Cabinda. I expect them to cut Bawden once he's healthy outside of the latter beating Cabinda out in camp - doubtful as Bawden has been injured both years.

Eubanks isn't simply an h-back type. He's better at blocking in-line as a true TE than most TE's available but didn't get many targets - Good hands but not great route running.

all good.
The homer pick was more figurative than literal as you reside in that area.

HaHaHa

I didn't even think about that in a name recognition sense. That was damn good comeback though.
I must've been in one of my " temporarily out to lunch" episodes
