What so called number 1 wide reciever does not feel this way??? I would not call Dez a cancer. Diva yea, but he does not throw teamates under the bus and complain thru the media constantly.
Well, for one a speed WR opposite of Dez should open him up and he'd get his targets, and should be happy, now if he continues to drop passes, and Dak decides to go the other direction, he'll bitch and be an issue.
I get the Dez hatred right now. He stunk this year and has the cap hit of an MVP. But as bad as our receivers are with Dez, you like them without him? And I don't buy the idea that the team will have enough confidence in a draft pick to pin the hopes of our season on him. i think we need to add a playmaker to this Offense.

Exactly and also open up Witten and Beasley. We need to add speed to the passing offense and we need to add a real good #2 WR. They don't even have to be the same guy, but ideally they would be. But our WR group may need to be broken up at this point. We keep swapping out #5 and #6 but nothing really changes. It's time to bring in some competition.
But do we really have decent WRs? Beasley is a great option if the Offense gives him space and the defense can't double him. The others? Not so sure.
We do need a pass catching TE. I like Swaim and Hannah as role guys but Witten is getting old and I don't see either as the future starter and Gathers doesn't seem to be able to learn the play book or block enough and may have a serious concussion problem. Witten should not be playing every snap going forward and it would be a great year to get a young guy some snaps and still have Witten around to teach him and bring him along slowly.
I don't think we know what Switzer is and Williams just doesn't seem to be able to get over the hump to be a good pass catcher. He makes a few nice plays and then disappears. With two studs on the field his blocking and ability to make 2 or 3 plays a game would be good but for this team we just need more I think
