Got some good news on Draft day..

Two players I signed to the indoor team I help signed CFL contract today.... Great feeling.

I still think its funny they hired Dorsey to pick the QB that the old regime would've picked in a heartbeat.

If Baker goes #1, I think Scot McGoghlin had a lot of weight. He was calling Baker the best QB back in Jan.

Yeah. The most Dorsey player is Allen but I don't think he has ever had a pick where he has gotten to choose from a bunch of QBs before.

The thing that is going to test Dorsey is if he passes on Barkley at #4. Dorsey would've never dreamed of taking an RB at #4 on the Chiefs.

Then again, thats going to be the thing with Elway, too. I think Elway is more likely to take Barkley just because it helps them win now and I feel like the Broncos should be building around Von Miller's window. Chiefs run D is also pretty egregious.

IMO if we take a TE early it means bad news on Butt. He's sorta like an extra 2nd round pick this year.

Don't feel like we are in a good position to take a TE early unless we aren't suddenly as high on Butt.

Could be a good move though to as you could go 2 TE and either be 4 wide or a power running set. Can make it difficult on a defense. We need another TE before training camp too.

Just don't think we're in a situation to go TE this early. Wish we had that luxury, but needs and value are gonna be there for us.

The Browns don't want to miss out on Chubb. So the only team they might be willing to trade with would be the Bronocs.

The Giants are not wanting to trade unless they get something crazy in return. They know the Browns want to take Barkley at 4 so if they want Barkley they have to stay where they are. There is talk though that the Bills are making one last push with the Giants to get up to 2. They would most likely take Allen though at 2 with the Jets still taking Rosen so the Broncos could still end up with Darnold.

I hope the Browns want Chubb. With all the help we need on offense, if we go defense at 5... I'd just have to SMH. (Though I must admit, last time we took a pass rusher in the top 5, I was pleasantly surprised.)

Not that it matters what we hear, but fun to see who says what hours before the draft. I don't think anyone really knows.

I think whatever way we look at it, we're in great shape. I guess it helps when you have quite a few needs, aye?

We aren't using to picking in the top 5, feels weird, cool and depressing at the same time.

Well this is both public and private at this point. Privately I've had a couple of people connected to the NFL tell me the coaches are pushing really hard for Rosen to the Jets over Darnold as he brings more instant impact and the coaches know they need to win now.


This one is about Josh Allen to the Jets though...

The Broncos are definitely in a great situation. At this point, I would be happy with any of these players:

• Chubb
• Barkley
• Darnold
• Rosen
• Mayfield
• Nelson

One of those six players will be a Denver Bronco in about 5 hours. I just don't think the Broncos are going to trade down.
