Nobody is going to agree with this, but I liked Rosanne Barr when she first came out doing her standup. I couldn't stop laughing.

She was funny at first then she got so annoying the sound of her voice was like rosie o'donnells nails on a chalkboard.

Another couple women who were funny when they started were Ellen and Elayne Boosler.

Wait, another one! Rosie O'Donnell was funny back in the day. I already mentioned Ellen. She is gold, too.

Personal favorite stand up of mine, I can relate to this special too much lol. Love it. This is Titus' first special that put him on the map in the early 2000s.

I'm actually kind of disgusted that no one else brought him up in this thread. I ain't ever heard anybody funnier than Norm. Maybe some people are as good, but I don't even know if I agree with that.

Norm is one of the most naturally funny guys ever, a really good standup, but he isn’t for everyone.

As far as a pure professional standup comedian goes, John Mulaney is probably the premier one these days.

I didn't look through every page, but surprised not to see Dave Attell on here.

To me, he is the best standup comedian of all time.

Also while it's true that this stuff is subjective, this place has a certain 'demographic' that I would think would be agreeable to his type of comedy.

Chapelle, CK, Russell Peters also good ones.

I think Kevin Nealon is the most underrated standup. He’s in my top 10 easily.
