Dude, Alabama’s only loss was to a team UCF beat. Think all you want that this would be some FCS team beating a P5 but its not quite that.

That doesn’t mean shit. The transitive property doesn’t work, and it’s even more ridiculous in this case, considering one’s a rivalry, the other is the short stick lose/lose big bowl match up for auburn.

UCF: the real kings, the kings of real serious scientific football
Alabama: the kings of cheating, the kings of dancing on the field, like ballet

It means more than comparing it to an FCs team beating a P5 team.

An quite hiding behind that bullshit dance auburn didn’t want to be there like pink ears is doing. They were there and lost.

And there’s the inaccuracy of that article. The line never closed at 13 for the Peach Bowl. The line never even got above 12 at any point at any sportsbook in Vegas and in fact it closed at most places where it started. 9.5.

So one random guy who isn’t even an actual oddsmaker anymore says he thinks the line would be 21 in his opinion if the game were to be played which it obviously wasn’t.

You don’t know that Alabama would have blasted UCF by 21 plus, 30, 50 or whatever other number you want to state as a fact. None of us do. They never played the game and settled it on the field. You know nothing.

If you had to bet your life savings on Alabama or UCF, who are you betting on?

So anyone that doesn’t agree with you is butthurt? That solving it?

I'm pretty sure nothing will ever solve your problem.

But as for the thread, it did.

The only problem is you thinking your opinion is gospel. But as you stated sometimes the better team doesn’t win.

No it doesn’t. Was just making the simple point that no game is settled before its played, shit happens and lesser teams beat better teams. If you think UCF would have just straight up been the better team, or even similar in any aspect, more power to you I suppose. Anyone giving a serious straight reply should disagree.

My argument was never UCF is the better team. My argument has always been anything can happen and anyone thinking Alabama beat UCF is a foregone conclusion is foolish.

What we do know is the UCF was better than Auburn and they proved it on a large stage, the Peach Bowl. In fact they finished four spots higher than Auburn in the rankings after they beat them. They ran the table, beat every conference opponent in what was the best Group of 5 conference, and took down the SEC West champion in a big bowl game. Look I’m not saying their resume’ deserved a playoff invite. I don’t believe they did. But what they were was a damn good football team that deserves respect, the sixth ranked team in the nation.

Were has anyone said they weren't a good football team?

Clemson lost by 18 to Alabama. Michigan St lost 38-0 and Ohio St lost to Ohio St 31-0. All those games are to the eventual National Champion. Those were all good football teams.

You said auburn would beat them 50-0 if they thought UCF had Alabama on their jerseys. Is losing 50-0 the sign of a good football team?

They deserve as much respect as any peach bowl winner in a non playoff year. Ordering championship rings and pretending they won the national championship is lame. People pretending they should have been in the playoff and would have beat bama is lame. You seem to agree with that though, so I don’t see what everyone’s arguing about.

They got respect...they are the 6th ranked team in the nation. What they are not is the 1st ranked team in the nation.

You don't think teams play their rivals harder?

I should just use your lame ass shit and say "anything's possible".

You are calling them a good team allthewhile saying they’d lose 50-0 if auburn thought they were playing Alabama.

What you should do is just shut the fuck up.

I will say this much. If you look at Auburn as a competitor and view their home win record for last year. Then look at their away from home record, you see a stout team at home, but a sub .500 team away from home. Its not hard to see UCF beating Auburn away from Jordan Hare.
As for UCF beating Bama, it is possible, but I would not bet my life savings it would happen. Since it didnt happen and wont for the foreseeable future, we can only speculate. My guess is they keep it close, but in the end, Bama wins by 7-10 pts.
