Dulac has been more reliable than most. But all media shouldn't be as trusted as they are. Their main initiative is to produce material that drives ratings, even if its more based on rumors than inside sources.

I see why the Steelers didn't pull the trigger on Barton though. They've done enough homework to feel comfortable with any of the top 3 C prospects. They may be gambling that either Frazier or JPJ falls to them at 51. Or maybe they are enamored enough to move up for one of those guys, or even a DB or WR. They can still find a decent C prospect in the 3rd Rd. Probably would mean bringing Mason Cole back if that were the case.

My guess is they wait until the next Center is selected to gauge whether they need to move up. Guarantee Khan will be on them phones as soon as a Center is picked before them.

I didn't expect Troy Fautanu to be there. Same way I didn't bother to consider Alt or Fashanu. It was absolutely the right call.

Exactly. No idea why so many fans are having such a negative or even lukewarm reaction to it. Obviously haven't watched this kid play.

I wasn't happy with the pick at first. But that was because I didn't even watch a single piece of film on him. This kid is a beast. Not a sexy pick but protecting the QB needs to be a priority this year now that we have mobile QBs that will likely run the ball more than Najee Harris will in most games.

I feel like we go WR with the 2nd round pick IF and ONLY IF, Kool-Aid or Cooper Dejean are not available. If either if those two are available, I would hope we pick them. However, if they are not, Roman Wilson from Michigan or Adonai Mitchell Texas would be the top 2 WR picks in my book.

They had him rated that much higher on their board and didn't expect him to fall. That alone says everything you need to know.

I won't feel bad if the OC they end up is Hunter Nourzad. I think he can be as good as the other guys eventually, but he won't hit the ground running and start right away.

His wingspan is like a condor, too.

When Tomlin says that, he speaks for the entire staff. I trust the GM & scouting department.
