So, for height and weight, he was in the 63rd percentile and 84th, respectively.
The better a player is, the more green you typically see.

PFF had it rated as an overpay too, but admitted that the NFL likely sees him as an ascending young player. They also didn't have it as a need for the Rams, as they must not have listed Avila as moving to center. That would've affected their rating as well. PFF was more concerned with their tackles.

Two of the comps (DaQuan and Settle) were great in rotation for the Bills. Maybe he can be more.

It's not like he was a part of the solution last year. Adding Davis and Robertson makes the CB room better than it was last year. It does definitely ramp up the need to draft one early though.
