Fields is no different than Pickett. They are both reclamation projects. Both ruined by OC's and HC's, if either ever had a chance.

I'm not looking at Fields as a possible Franchise Player ever, and that's what a team needs.

Despite the Rams' amazing draft class, I think he figures the Rams wont be competing... so he'll just save his body for retirement. He'll go down as one of the best (possibly contending as the best) DT in NFL history. Certainly saved Ramsay from being one of the biggest jokes/memes in SBOWL history (that everyone will forget).

LOL. Rams were/are poised to build on last year's playoff appearance. Losing Donald is the one negative so far this preseason, but a big one for sure.

Rams are all in, without being nowhere near all in. Whatever.

They just replaced Fuller with Curl. Nobody has left that wasn't planned (other than Donald, and they knew he was retiring before free agency).

I hope not. If cut I don't think he'd be claimed. I don't see average NFL back-up QB ability at this point. He played behind a terrible O-Line so he could develop, but it's going to take time. A team will be paying him to perform under hostile fire, not for the privilege of trying to develop him.

I think McVay might think he can fix him.

Maybe he could, but Wilson isn't going to sign a cheap, non-guaranteed, multi-year deal after he's been cut by the Jets, so it's not worth the time and effort.

So if he's not Good enough for them, why does he have to be good enough for us?

He doesn't have to be replaced, that's a choice. Could take a wr, a tackle, or trade down.
