Relax. Handicrapper has already guaranteed a Seattle loss so there is nothing to be nervous about.

I mean he did the same thing last week telling everyone the Vikings had already won and how Seattle had no heart, only to then still try to claim credit because he was only playing the spread. :L
Ya, he has his hand on the pulse of everything sports related. With $27 in vcash we are to believe he amasses tons of cheddar in real cash. Below middle of the road guy in the ESPN pickems' contest with straight picks, has visionary wisdom when it comes to real money against the spread. However, you decide that you want to just quit and take up bass fishing, he is the guy to go to for advice.

All 3 teams that are left are dangerous and have both legit offenses and defenses. Being healthy is huge this time of year. Of the 3 the Cards not having the honey badger is bad for them, but the others are in decent shape.

SB50 being in SF puts it as near to Seattle as is possible for a potential SB site and isn't that far away from Zona, at least not compared to NE. If it's Carolina both are on a long road to the game for their fans.

Cart is well ahead of the horse in this thread, but any of the 3 would be worthy teams in that game.

It would seem to follow logically that those who argue that injuries are no excuse would have to take you to task for that statement. If injuries aren't to blame then why would being healthy be of any benefit?

Nobody seems to want to touch this other than Hammer using his favorite emoticon. See how stupid injuries being discounted sounds when you have to admit that not having injuries isn't important?

As far as I'm concerned NE is already going to the SB. Now I'd prefer Seattle not make it again because I don't want them to win either but I made them a choice because they're a dangerous team. I just want someone to knock off NE even if that's....sigh...Cam.

Let's see how Manning plays today. The Patriots have a hard time in Denver.

This team showed me absolutely nothing today that makes me think they can even hang with NE.

May I take the board's silence on this to mean that OF COURSE significant injuries to key players is a valid excuse for why a team doesn't win a particular game?

It's damn football, man. No style points. Broncos made the plays to win a close game, something the team has done most weeks this season. Likely have to do the same next week in order to win. Figures to be tough, but I certainly know we are capable of winning.

Bump.

Would love to hear from the injuries are no excuse crowd about how the health of a team has no significance.

Health does play a factor in winning the Super Bowl.

But using injuries as an excuse for losing is still a loser's lament.
