I think it's fair to call out Nick Siriani.
Yep. He’s nothing more than a “vibes” guy, CEO, motivator, organizer, etc… He’s not an offensive/defensive genius type. He will always be dependent on quality coordinators to essentially be the head coach of their respective sides of the ball. That’s who Tomlin is. That’s who John Harbaugh is. It’s not disqualifying by any means. It’s just the way he fits as a head coach. They have good coordinators with track records and experience in place now.
I do think the Eagles have the best GM but they also gave up last year
Yep. Still not sure why the collapse happened and it’s still a concern. They have to work through that. The job they got from the coordinators was just straight unprofessional though. Some of the stories about DC Desai are embarrassing. He was in over his head. I think it was too much too fast for Brian Johnson at OC. He was also set up to fail in running Sirianni’s “system” which has too much tape, has been exposed, and Sirriani doesn’t have the ability to adjust inside the context of his scheme.

Another thing on Roseman from last year:
He dropped the ball with his plan. The Eagles have always devalued RB, LB, S and have depended upon undrafted rookie FAs and guys on one year show me deals. In 2022, his choices all hit there especially TJ Edwards and Marcus Epps. They left in FA last year. Losing those players didn’t hurt as much as the fact that when they went to the scrap heap as they often do, they absolutely whiffed on the personnel decisions. That’s why they had to trade for Byard and sign that washed LB whose name escapes me from the Colts.

With the signing of CJGJ and now Devin White this is a tacit admission from Roseman that he fucked up.

We've seen the value of RB and LB rise just due to the nature of light boxes. If teams are running 4-2, those two linebackers need to do a lot. We've also seen the value of DTs rise but the Eagles never really devalued that position.

DT seems to be the only position I feel confident with Roseman drafting haha.

Chargers need OL and WR now in the draft. Harbaugh wants younger talent for Herbert. Makes sense

Nice deal for Chicago. Two veteran WR’s for Chicago and gave up a mid round pick
That was a sorely needed spot for the Bears to fill. Our WR group after Moore is bottom 3 in the league. Allen will definitely provide a huge boost to the passing game.

FYI...the Bears now have a total of 4 draft picks. That would be good if they had a complete team without a lot of holes, but they're not.

Something tells me they're going to be trading one of the 2 1st round picks for more picks/players.

I mentioned this on the Bears board. We're still a DE/Edge away from filling all critical needs. Now due to us being down to just 4 picks, the 9th spot could be a candidate for a trade back. However, I don't agree with you at all that we still have a lot of holes. You'll have to show me where those are aside from the DE/Edge spot I just discussed.

It's not as if day 3 Draft picks are any guarantee of filling holes. Maybe 2 or 3 stick as depth players or prospects. UDFAs will do until the 53-man roster cut down point.

The Chiefs just got even stronger adding in Hollywood Brown - he’s a good receiver who will provide another good target for Mahomes besides Kelce and Rice. They will likely add in a receiver pretty quickly in the draft, so their receiving unit will be much better going into this season it appears.

Now they can go QB and DE/edge. Verse or Turner should be there or even trade back from #9 to acquire more picks. Plus Fields SHOULD net them a mid round pick

That division is going to be a cakewalk.

Chargers will have to rebuild the offense and defense was just ok.
Denver is a mess without a QB
Raiders could be #2 in that division and they don’t have a QB. Adams might be dealt at some point.
