I preordered 3 PS4's so I can try and sell them. Then my chick (who works with Microsoft all the time) said that she might be getting an Xbox One from them. I am going to try and sell all of them this christmas and make some money then buy a PS4 down the line when the demand is not so crazy and they are easy to find.

Not that I needed another reason to avoid the Xbox One, but I just found out that it's going to be running Windows 8 (where the hell have I been?!). I hate that shitty pos OS on my work laptop, I sure as shit don't want it on a game console.

I do not believe you will need plus for something like Netflix though.

I have both consoles and I think they are so close far as specs. My opinion the graphics look a little better on the Xbox 360. I do love the Blue Ray on the PS3.

I originally bought an XBox 360 because at first it had the better games and better online and a better system. That being said PS has vastly improved their systems and I think Im gonna go with a PS4 next time I buy a console.

Yes but its still cheaper then the Xbox also the Playstation network does give away a lot of free games and you might not have to buy the online to use Netflix and Hulu unlike Xbox

Yeah, there's no way I'm buying either for a while. Wait til they work out all the bugs and see which one I think I'd like the best. I've always been an xbox guy, but the PS4 may change that.

XBOX all day. Playstation controllers are retarded and uncomfortable. The joysticks are too loose also. Xbox controllers are perfect.

I wanted to get a PS4 but I couldn't find any pre-orders so I went with a XBOX One since it was available (but I won't get it until Jan 3rd). I would have gone with Sony but I do most of my gaming in the cold/winter months. I might still get a PS4 but it wouldn't be until a year from now.

The controller issue is even much less of one now. The newer PS4 controllers are more XBOXish than the PS3 controllers (which were pretty good to begin with).

I have one pre-ordered to be delivered Jan 3rd but I'm going to see if I can a XBOX One or PS4 on the launch in stores. It's going to be tough to get either before Christmas.

I have to imagine some suppliers are quietly getting inventory ready for black friday though.

The advantage I see with the Xbox is that they seem to want to make it into an entertainment system rather than a gaming system only. Microsoft seems to have a lot of "ins" with the big cable companies and such -- which means that a lot of these streaming things, like HBO2GO, may only be on the Xbox vs. the PS4.

And everyone I know plays on Xbox - which is a big thing within your individual gaming community that determines which one you buy. At this point, they're practically the same; though it will be interesting to see what Microsoft does with the mandatory connect.

The main thing that concerns me about the XBOX One is the recent news of it running native at 720p as opposed to the PS4 that is at 1080p.

I will say the PS4 controllers are about a million times better than the PS3 controllers. Very comfortable. You can't even really tell the difference between them and XBOX controllers.
