Arizona is dominating the stats, if not for the 5/8 threes, Poly would be down 10+.

He is one of the rare players who seems to get worse every season. As a Freshman he was pretty good, and hit some huge shots in the NCAA tourney. As a Soph he was mediocre. So far tonight he has been bad.

If they don't come out with a fire lit under their asses in the second half then something is wrong.

I agree, they should be blowing them out, but other than the FT shooting, which is ridiculous 8/18, they are playing pretty well. Mayes had the 3 quick turnovers too, but most of those 3s that Poly hit were contested, it's not like those guys were all wide open. Have to give them credit for shots.

this team needs to get a few games behind them before I think they are gonna mesh like a top 10, but mayes is making mistakes that aren’t even part of the chemistry that we will develop. he looks like crap

We are shooting 44% from the line, and half of Cal Poly's shots are from 3pt, and they are shooting 50%. THose are the main stats that are absolutely killing us. Make the free ones, and get out on your man. We do those, we take their heart out and pull away. We need a dominant half right now.
