Not really.
So just so we're clear, we agree it's literally only his athleticism that's better than Haskins, which is apparently what you value most then. Fair enough.

QB: Haskins
RB: Montgomery
WR: Harry
TE: Hock

In a weak draft class, Haskins is imo the most complete package out of the group.
I think Haskins has a good shot at being the best but he certainly isnt the most complete package. He isn't mobile, his spiral kinda stinks, and he can't throw off platform.

Haskins does make the best decisions and by most accounts has the best leadership. His arm talent is also good enough to work with at the NFL level.

I would hesitate to call him the most complete package, though.

It's not what I value most. If it was, Murray would be my best QB prospect.

Well you don't value arm talent or intelligence more, since Haskins has it on Jones there, too. All you basically mentioned was Jones' athletic ability/mobility.

:noidea:

Jones is really good pre snap. And I did mention he had an awful supporting cast around him. Not only offensive line play, but Jones' receivers were 2nd in fbs in dropped passes.

Rodney Anderson is the best skill RB in the draft, but injuries will keep him from being picked there

Yeah, I read that pre-snap thing too. I'm guessing you saw the same article I did. I'm guessing you can explain that about as well as I can.

Certainly didn't hurt him that he played in an excessively weak division, either.

I'm sure Haskins is good presnap too. Both can be equally good at the intelligence factor.

And I'm not sure bringing up schedule strength is the best argument either. Duke played an overall tougher schedule than OSU did last year, at least during the regular season.

Depends on which website you use. What I can tell you, however, is that Haskins performed exceptionally better last year.

If Daniel Jones was 6'2", do you honestly think he'd be considered a first round possibility?

I remember Mayock being really high on Bridgewater even when NFL teams were dubious. I wouldn't be too shocked if Vegas went after Haskins even if some other teams are souring on him.

Josh Allen was a much better prospect imo than Haskins and Murray are. So, yeah I would. All these qb's are worse prospects than the top 4 last year.
Josh Allen was an extremely overrated QB. Sucked against bad competition. Sucked even worse against decent competition.

Yeah he played better last year, that's why he was in NYC.

And idk.

If you feel that way about Jones, you must think Haskins, Murray, and Lock are destined to be busts.

I guess we'll see how his NFL career pans out. But he was still picked 7th overall.

Murray - too small
Montgomery - too slow
Butler - bad hands
Fant - can't block

They could all be good. I would take Haskins 2nd out of that group.

Montgomery has quickness and elusiveness which is more important than straight line speed in a RB. Plus the dude breaks tackles like it's no one's business . Fant gets a bad rso on blocking . He's not as good a blocker as Hockenson but he's still an anove average blocker .

Jones has been coached the best of the top prospects.
