In the 9th. didn't Merryfield go around for the K and the 3rd out? Ump was good to us there.
Yeah I think he missed 3 calls that at bat, but luckily 2 went in our favor.

I loved that swing of Stott yesterday that put that ball over the fence. Stott's bat remains on fire. Stott homered in the 9th, added the tiebreaking Sac fly in the 10th, and we take down the Mutts!!

Looking at the stats, the Phillies have scored 222 runs, second in the majors behind the Dodgers' 226. Seven Phillies have 4 to 9 HRs, and eight Phillies have 32-52 hits so it's a solid, balanced team. In some games, the bottom of the lineup carried the team. Their five starters have a 2.41 ERA. No. 6 Walker is at 4.82 but has only started 3 games and should improve.

Can Phils win 116 games? Sure.

1906 Cubs: 116-36
2001 Mariners: 116-46
1998 Yankees: 114-48
1954 Cleveland: 111-43
2022 Dodgers: 111-51
1927 Yankees: 110-44
1909 Pirates: 110-42
1961 Yankees: 109-53
1969 Orioles: 109-53
1970 Orioles 108-54
1975 Reds 108-54
1986 Mets 108-54
2018 Red Sox 108-54

Over the course of 129 seasons (from 1892 to 2023 excluding 1981, 1994, and 2020) 116 teams have won 100 or more games in a single MLB season. Phillies accomplished it three time '76, '77, and 2011. Complete List:

Looking sloppy today. Hopefully they can conjure up some magic in the late innings

If they hang on to this lead, Ranger will be 8-0.

Harper is crushing the ball to the opposite field tonight. Just a triple away from the cycle.

Sooooo much fun watching the Phillies bitch-slap the Mutts. This one yesterday was a football score. A TD and FG takes it.

Excellent. Chubb did a great job in Realmuto's absence and Stott and Castellanos def stepped-up to fill in for their missing bats!

Starting out slow in today's game against the Mutts. Down two runs in the Fourth but Realmuto is on and Harper is next!
