Nola is back

It seems like they're saying they were good enough last year so we're running it back. A couple things that could improve are A) We could have a whole season of Bryce 2) Stott seems like he is only getting better. C) do you think one of those starters we got in the farm system will be ready at some point next season?

Agree on Stott, Cedrique. Doesn't matter if we get a whole season of Harper. The question remains: Is he going to fold in the post-season like he did this past season?? Would hope so on the Farm system getting productive again but it is def iffy and will the dumbass FO actually utilize it correctly if they do get a pitcher or two to move on up??!!

As for C), you've got Wheeler, Nola, Suarez, Walker, and Sanchez.

I'm not really worried about past Postseason performances. It's a 30 game sample size for him. A lot of great players sucked in the postseason-right up until the time that they didn't. Barry Bonds, Alex Rodriguez, etc. As long as they get back there, they will have a chance.

As far as the FO utilizing the farm system correctly, your guess is as good as mine. :noidea:

I doubt Abel or McGarry will be considered ready. McGarry is now out of most lists have seen of top 250 minor leaguers. Last year he was 80-100 on most lists. Abel needs another year in minors. They may still add to starting pitching. If not it’s Wheeler Nola Ranger Walker Sanchez.

Then they probably need someone else on the back burner. You need at least 6 or 7 starters these days. I'll scour the free agents and find someone they can pick up.

Dumbass queation deserves the correct answer:

I don’t think you understand how baseball works. You seem to expect players to hit every time out or pitch a gem every time out. It just doesn’t work that way. The same guys who struggled through losing 4 of 5 vs the Diamondbacks are the only reason they beat the Braves and were in that situation to begin with.
