So should I start the Bring Back Marty chants or is someone gonna beat me to it? lol.

Clemmer looks more than rusty.

Boucher looked good out there. He has good sense offensively. Even that quick pass to Ryder for the tip in. He made that play look too easy. They said he lost some weight over the summer and he feels quicker.

Larsson got beat by Kreider on that one play. I know the puck bounced, but he can't let that happen once the season starts. Overall however, I thought he played pretty well.

Havlat had a good game too.

Torn on Boucher. Best thing long term is to let him play in Albany again, then let some of these guys leave this off season. (Brunner, Zubrus, Ryder, etc.)

Don't forget last year JJ was our best player in preseason.

Jj sucks it says a lot about his play when his best play last night was taking down Kreider with 10 seconds left

Larson wasn't all that impressed with him either I figure him as a bottom pairing d guy for his career unless a change of teams will do him good

I love clemmenson but he looked bad last night too

Kinkaid couldn't get a feel for him

He roque has captain written all over him 30/30 season from him please

Larsson was ok, but yes, he shouldn't be just trying to make the team. Draft day, if you were asked where you would see Larsson 3 years later, I think most including scouts would say number 1 or 2 on the team. I know he is still only 21, but I would have liked to seen a lot more by now.
Its only one preseason game though. That Kreider goal, yes, the puck bounced, but a top defenseman still either plays the puck differently or takes the body. Again, I get its preseason, but he is not some established vet automatically on the team. I want to see more from the kid.

Ryder also looked solid. His entire line was the best line all night on both teams.

JJ been here since the 90s lol... jk... no but JJ he is what he is, we know that... he's had his time to crack this team(which desperately lacks offense).

Boucher is a strong off guy for Albany, scores a shootout goal in his first gm IIRC and looks to be creative and up to speed(i'm giving it to him) offensively in one preseason game...

I'll roll with that, rather see him out there and expand on his growth as an NHL player than see Brunner anymore... I'm done with that guy lol... :suds:

Jacob Markstrom put on waivers by Vancouver.

Would be a very solid pickup if Lou goes after him.

Yea he's never been great but playing behind a bad defense in Florida hurt him.

Even if Cory starts 70 games this year I dont feel comfortable with Clemmer or Kinkaid starting the other 12.

Lou's gotta make a move.
