Um, who is going to be our 3rd line center, Zubrus? Josefson?

The way I look at it, top line seems like it is almost guaranteed to be:

Camm-Zajac-Jagr

2nd line likely will consist of Elias, Truth and another winger. Those wingers consist of:

Havlat (likely candidate), Ryder, Clowe, Brunner, Ruutu. How do we round out the bottom 2 lines? Will a guy like Clowe or Ruutu play on the 4th line? Does it make sense to have a guy like Brunner on the 4th line?

Are we assuming Zubrus will be playing center or will he factor into the mix at wing as well? I'm trying to think of some lineups and it seems to get pretty saturated near the bottom.

they really have to move ruttu for the life of me i still can't understand that deal that shipped him here. he really has no role on this team and guys like zubrus clowe bernier carter (who will be back) fill his role.

Bernier is back. Unless people are being moved (or maybe they just anticipate injuries) I don't Bernier is a top 12 guy.

Is Carter still unsigned? Seems like after the frenzy on the first day of free agency there has been zero action since.

I still think either Ryder or Brunner will be moved sooner or later.

How JJ performs before the season starts will determine if him or Gio is playing opening night. Needless to say Im expecting Gio.

When they flipped Patty to middle and AH to his wing Henrique scored 9 Goals in 5 games and looked unstoppable. We don't have that many guys who have a legit shot at 30, so I'm going everything I can to enable AH to succeed. Wouldn't be the first time. Parise was originally a center back in the day.

Gio & Bernier should NOT be scratches at all... it would be another F up by PDB if that happens... Clowe or Ruutu need to bounce, too redundant IMO and not enough impact on the ice....

Why Brunner isn't cut baffles me.

After his benching last year Brunner was pretty solid in my opinion up until he got hurt. The skill is there, just need to keep his head in the game.

Skill is there I can agree with but as you said the head isn't there... I'm ok with him out n clearing up the wings... Rather see bernier out there hustling making something happen than Brunner being a bum imo...

Quite an overloaded blue line
