Well if there's anything to be said of this half season so far its that they are doing a great job making just about everyone at the office unlikeable, especially Peggy. She's like a stone cold bitch now.

Mid-season finale tonight. I still can't believe AMC made them split the final season up into two parts. Things have just got going at a nice pace.

Damn it! That finale was so good and now its gone for another year. I knew Bert was gonna go (ok, I've been saying that for like 4 seasons) but what a way to go!

Final 7 episodes start tonight at 10 eastern. From the looks of the trailer with the clothing of the characters, it looks like there might be a time jump to the mid-70s. Looking forward to it but they never should have split the last season into two parts imo.

About the only thing good on this show anymore!
I am not going to go that far, but I was insanely bored while watching this ep. I suspect it is more because I have forgotten everything that has happened up to this point. I dont find this show good enough for multiple viewings, so I have no intention of binging it to get re-caught up.

I liked it.. It's just starting the ball rolling but clearly life isn't perfect in paradise

Unless your Roger Sterling of course.

Like the stache and Ken's move to Dow chemical was pretty funny.

And yeah but they should have finished it last year.

Slowly going downhill for sure. Still watchable but if I happen to doze off I don't rewind to see what I missed.

I still like it. Sunday's episode was nothing special but still decent IMO. I liked the first half of this season last year, so I assume (hope) this was just a slower than normal episode.

For the fans of the show...

Is this season just SUPER boring, or am I just not getting it? I find I just don't care about any of the characters and the story seems dull. I almost feel like I am back in the office and watching dull office politics play out all over again.

Do you feel this as well, or am I just "not getting it"?

They are ending the show forever so they are tieing up a lot of loose ends. Not quite as exciting as Breaking Bad's end. :)

How many shows are left?

Weiner should have asked Gilligan how to end a series.

I think there are a total of 3 eps remaining...

Predictions...

Roger retires, moves to France, gets divorced (and fleeced), dies penniless.

Don quits, leaving his buyout on the table. He moves back to his home town (forget where that is), leaving "Don Draper" behind, once again becoming Dick Whitman.

Pete gets re-married and opens his own firm after the 4-year contract is up.

Peggy tracks down her son and moves closer, getting a small job in whatever local city.

Joan marries her current beau, moves to California and becomes an exec in his company.
