Not crazy but some damn fine acting and writing. A+ performances all around. Don's, or should I say Dick's, spiel about Hershey's had me a little misty eyed. Next season is the last one. I want to see how it ends but at the same time, I want more.

Man, I'm still buzzing over how good that was. So much emotional tension on display. Weiner and his cast are just fantastic. The Wire is still #1 for me but Mad Men is definitely second.

BTW, its total bullshit that AMC made them split the final season.

Never watched Mad Men on AMC, then I signed up for Netflix and it is a habit. It just pulls you in, best show on TV.

it was the best show on tv for the first 4 seasons. bar none. one of the best ever.

3 thoughts on the premiere:

1) Cool shots to end the show with Peggy trapped on the inside to contrast Don, who was on the outside looking in.

2) I didn't think it was possible, but they found a way to make Pete look more like a douche

3) Neve Campbell looked smoking hot.

Kiernan Shipka never ceases to amaze me. Still a teenager but such a great actress. She's got a bright future. All the Sally/Don stuff tonight was great and the end almost brought a tear to my eye. I enjoyed the rest of the episode as well. The Shirley/Dawn talk was funny and LOL at Peggy. And I'm really hoping Roger and Jim become adversaries. We need more Roger

I forgot it started up again last week so I dvr'd a replay of it. I think I might just dvr them all. The commercials drove us nuts watching episode 2 tonight. Agree with all of that ^^. Great stuff between Don & Sally. She really floored him with her goodbye. He needed that.
