Pretty sure that was also the year that he walked into the locker room before the contest, looked at all of the other competitors and said: "Which one of y'all is coming in second?"

Dude was not only an all time great player, but also an all time great trash talker.

@WiggyRuss I know you're gonna get yourself a pair of these bad boys....

I just paid $300 for two fucking pairs of Nike Air Swoopes.

They are pretty dope.

But, that's a lot for some fucking shoes when my kids are gonna ride the pine.

Yeah, I'm sure they weren't happy about it. But it's definitely better that he didn't waste folks time when he already knew what he was going to do.

I find his comment "The Lakers didn't grab me" to be a bit interesting. It's not like the Lakers didn't make a fair offer.

It was a trade. All they could do was make a fair offer and hope that the Pacers chose it. They didn't.

That trade offer was Clarkson, Randle, the #27 and #28 (which ended up netting Kuzma, Hart, and Thomas Bryant with a trade down). The Lakers made out better keeping those pieces (other than losing Randle in free agency) than moving them for George IMO.

Dude, that's like laughing at a guy for not winning a prize on a scratch off ticket after he just won the powerball jackpot.

Besides, George flubbed his offseason regardless. He re-upped with a team that has no real shot at a title, for a contract that limited his earning potential on top of that. He should fire his agent.

No team has a shot against a Healthy Warriors team.

Even if he joined LeBron, the Lakers would still be fighting for 2nd place.

So, might as well play where it makes you happy.

If it were all about the money, Kawhi and LeBron would have signed where they were.
