Yeah, that okay?

I don't see the necessity in it, really. Then again, I also don't see the harm. It tends to stay near the top regardless, and it's always relevant this season.

I think I'll leave it here. I was just curious as to how it kept getting stickied after I unstickied it.

That is a pretty f'n stellar view.

PNC truly belongs in the upper-eschelon of parks...

I think that if it was not for the History or Fenway or Wrigley... There would not be a plausible argument for ranking either of those parks over PNC

PNC deserves to be ranked one of the best parks in all of MLB

They tore down Yankee Stadium
They tore down Tiger Stadium
They want to change Fenway

Camden Yards is a pretty nice park, and so is the giants new home on the water...But PNC is easily as nice as either of them...

The only park that is not Wrigley or Fenway that compares to PNC is Royals stadium... ( Kauffman )They have for a long time kept that old Stadium beautiful...They have renovated it several times in the last few decades keeping it modern...A great place to watch a baseball game.

I dislike these massive new stadiums ( Rob Neyer coined the phrase of Mallparks ) The Marlins new Stadium is terrible! And it cost almost a BILLION DOLLARS! The Nationals new stadium is not much better!

I have been to a bunch of baseball stadiums...Do not believe that newer, and bigger equates into better... Not at all!

just my $00.2
:2cents:

never heard of anybody throwing in their 20 cents, but thanks etrius for considering the inflation rate into an old saying.

interesting mcdaonald has a vague back issue after he scorched that ball yesterday and mercer had such a good showing.

i thought hurdle didnt want mercer just sitting, so maybe this means he will get a little more PT than mcdonald got.

should be interesting to see if and how hurdle contradicts or goes against his grain as barmes and inge seem to be favorites.

If this isn't the best outfield view in baseball, what is?

For comparison' sake - after 46 games:

2013 - 28-18
2012 - 22-24 (high point - July 28, Aug 1, Aug 6, Aug 8 - 16 games above .500)
2011 - 22-24 (high point - July 19 - 7 games above .500)
2010 - 20-26 (high point - April 7, April 18 - 2 games above .500)

On pace for 98.6 wins in 2013.

Right now at 31 and 19 the Bucs have the 3rd best record in MLB... They continue to do well on the road and against teams that have killed them in the past ( Brewers ) This has a different feel than 2012..

This is my first time watching Gomez pitch. I honestly have to say I have no idea how he has been effective for so long. Everything he throws is hit squarely and he isn't confusing anyone. The one thing he has going for him is that every batted ball is heading toward the big part of the field. I guess if you are a flyball pitcher that pitches to contact that is where you would like the ball to go.

It is a bit odd. But I guess we should ride the hot hand until it isn't a hot hand any longer.

Well hopefully Morton and McDonald will be ready sooner than later and we will have options if Gomez' luck runs out.
