First televised game of the season today! I think this might be the first time the Yotes have had a preseason game on TV in like... ever. So excited for this and to see the fight for the final spots.

Lots of tough choices there and I'm not even sure who I'm rooting for. If I had to guess I would think Domi, Szwarz and Lessio would get sent down (Domi to juniors?). That would leave Miele, Brown and Brule, but I think Miele has pretty much secured his spot. Brown vs Brule is a tough one, especially since its hard not to root for Brule after what he has been through, but Brown has done what has been expected of him.

Yeah but they aren't playing everyone, I'm more interested in seeing what some of our "depth" can do.

Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have assigned three players to the Portland Pirates, the club’s American Hockey League affiliate.

The players assigned to Portland are forwards Tim Kennedy, Brandon McMillan and Brandon Yip.

There are now 28 players remaining in the Coyotes veterans’ training camp.
