Fields was always going to go one of two ways. Either someone targeted him specifically and got the deal done early in free agency, or the Bears are forced to wait to see who doesn't get their FA target (and isn't confident in the draft slot). They may end up trading him during the draft at this point.

Wow, I can’t believe the Falcons got a decent player in exchange for Ridder. Great deal for us, Moore is an explosive speedy receiver who can make some plays and adds depth to the position, Ridder is dogshit.

The Falcons making moves this offseason.

That suggests to me that they may be looking at a QB in the 2nd or 3rd rd to develop. No way is Cousins the long term answer. I think that they maybe should have waited but given that they got value in return, hard to fault them making the move.

Cousins is in his prime.

They're just about the same player. Biggest difference is the college they went to.
