one of the more underrated WR in this class. Watch the two catches he hauls in at the 1:56 & 2:20 marks. He's eerily similar to Devonta in style of route running. He's allegedly 6'1 195

and D. Smith isn't a playmaker ? C'mon now. Smith can get those contested balls that Waddle won't have a shot at. Smith has long arms and big hands. You won't see that out of Waddle anywhere near as much.

I still like Waddle though. It doesn't matter which of those two or even Chase.

Agreed. They are all good. I was thinking more of a make something out of nothing when referring to big plays.

Waddle would be great to team with Williams and Perriman - this year. He's dynamic as a runner with the ball in his hands - even his route running ability but not as nuanced as DeVonta - yet

It wouldn't be a bad idea to draft two WR if they somehow acquire an extra (s) day three pick.

Maybe someone like Nico Collins (there's others to mention) but the FO appears to be leaning towards speed as their type of WR - at least in Free Agency.

2021 NFL Draft: Ranking the strongest position groups in the 2021 draft class | NFL Draft | PFF

2. OFFENSIVE TACKLE

As things stand, PFF has a first-round grade on seven offensive tackles and Day 2 grades on six more. That’s a LOADED class. While last year’s group was top-heavy, this year’s has serious depth. There’s a chance you’ll be able to find immediate starters leaking into the second round, which is something that rarely happens at the position.

3. WIDE RECEIVER

Before you say, “you say it’s a great receiver class every year,” just know that this likely won't be the case in 2022. If you want that game-changing wide receiver, this is the year to do it.

8. EDGE DEFENDER

The edge class is one of the scariest position groups in this draft, as it has far more boom-or-bust players per capita than any other position in 2021. That’s because so few guys from it produced at a high level on college football fields.

11. INTERIOR DEFENSIVE LINE

There is one first-round grade (Christian Barmore, Alabama) and one second-round grade (Alim McNeil, N.C. State). That’s your 2021 defensive tackle class. That’s not saying there isn’t talent to be found, but at this point, it is the weakest DI group we’ve seen in our seven years of doing this.

crazy #'s and lots of talent. His run defense improved dramatically in 2020 but he didn't record a single sack last season. He has shown some ability to drop into coverage, outside the hash, but not many snaps in that area
