only took us 24 pts to beat you back in 08

Screwy 2nd half for sure. This offense is just better across the board believe it or not. That offense fizzled a bit towards the end of the year as I recall.

I said earlier, it's up to Ga's defense. They must play a near perfect game to have any chance.

It's an interesting dynamic, we have been able to run the ball pretty much at will. That is going to be a much more difficult proposition against Georgia. I still expect 35 though.

the quote i heard all month up to that game was.. OU is the most prolific scoring offense that whole season.. Sooners scored at least 60 points in each of their last five Big 12 games with the ultimate highlight coming in the form of a 65-21 beatdown of then undefeated Texas Tech... OU finally met a real defense and was contained

Georgia is going to get theirs on the ground. I fully expect them to have 200 yards on the ground. I also expect the true freshman to be put under duress and struggle with the pass rush. I think Georgia looks strong to start the game, but if they have to chase I don’t think they can keep up. I don’t think their defense has any idea what they’re about to get hold of, and I think they’ll be surprised by our physicality. I could see this game going a few ways though. Could see us getting punched in the mouth early, and I could also see us surprising people defensively. Georgia’s offense is right in Mike’s wheelhouse, but I really worry about our linebackers. That’s my super early assessment. A lot can happen in 4 weeks though.
I think if you let 200+ yards on the ground, you aren't winning that game

I don't think Fromm beats you, sell out on the run

Those teams play 10 times it's 6-4 one way or another or 5-5 and I expect you know it. OU blew so many chances to score in the 1st half it was ridiculous. You guys won, congrats, this is 9 years later and I'll take this QB and offensive line all day long.

We're not gonna shut down OU's offense, any notions of that happening are delusional.

We're rightfully the underdogs, but if we can eat up clock and keep OU's offense off the field, and I have confidence we can do that, we'll have a shot. We'll get ours on the ground, and Fromm is a lot better than anyone wants to give him credit for, and after 13 games, that true freshman tag is only a label at this point.

One thing Georgia does well is they don't miss tackles on defense. If the defense can get a few stops and force a turnover or two, I like our chances.

We'll definitely need our A game, but Oklahoma better bring theirs as well.

That was due to two reasons. We had no receivers besides Gresham who could separate from your physical DB’s and so y’all bracketed him and went man on everyone else. Second, we didn’t have our running back, who was so important in our passing game. Y’all basically we’re able to make us one dimensional and won soundly. That is not this offense.

Georgia looked really impressive in the SEC championship game.
They looked down, then they got their shit together and crushed Auburn.

It bothers me.

It's the playoffs. We can all play it cool, but deep down every fan of every team involved is at least a little nervous about their opponent.

But I will say, this is already the most accomplished Georgia team of my lifetime. First time they've ever had a shot at a natty after the CCGs were all said and done. They're not the best UGA team of my lifetime. 2012 was probably a little better with Aaron Murray and Todd Gurley, and 2002 was a pretty damn good team too.

Absolutely. First time our two teams have met. Definitely some intangible factors at play here that are a little hard to predict. I’m just hoping for a great and injury free game. I know both our fan bases will be well represented.

I like UGA by 10+ points.

I will be rooting for Oklahoma the whole time because...To Hell With Georgia! and all that.

But I'm thinking UGA in a blowout. This is the most solid UGA team I've seen in a very long time.
