Game night again, looks like an easy on on paper but that's why they play the games.

B2B for Ottawa, Korpisalo to start tonight after not playing last night but also under the weather a little bit. I liked him as a King, he played well IMO until those last 3 PO games. His contract was just too much for LA, he wasn't going to get that (4 years/$20 million) here so he went. Mixed bag so far, hopefully the Kings light him up tonight.

As mentioned JAD no longer a King, Arty Retardy taking his spot in the lineup and Kings going 11/7 again. I seriously want you guys to watch Kaliyev, please find something - ANYTHING - to point out to.me why this guy should still be a King. I would have jettisoned both he and JAD in one fell swoop. They take up cap space, count towards the contract count and hold back others who maybe deserve a look too after 5+ years in the organization and not being anything special.

Interesting note is Moverare was also waived yesterday, but then also signed to a 2 year/$1.55 million deal. I'm trying to figure out that one. He wasn't claimed and will be in the line up tonight, I'm assuming Bowlby tagged that extra year on to deter him from being claimed much like he did with Englund on that 2 year/$2 million deal. Can't be spending that type of money on 5-7 defenders, that's a luxury. But Moverare is very good for the role he plays.

I expect Talbot in net, he stunk the joint up in Ottawa last season, he was injured though too and I would think he wants some revenge and a good showing.

Prediction: Kings win 4-1. Buster, Dunno keeps it rolling, Arty Retardy with his 1 game back in the line up juice and PLD. Game time 730pm, BSW.

I want to see Tkachuk get leveled, there is nothing likeable about that entire family of players.

That was big. Flipped on the 3rd period that was all good there. Terrible penalty by Tkatchuk, and nice to see Kings make them pay on that one. PLD def kept play alive and that was some weird defense in front of the net, but I'll take it. PLD had his stick down and got the deflection. Kings really need to win games like this. Hoping for a good push here in the final 10 minutes.

True but Sens have sucked forever...having a 90 point season already is impressive. Having an off season and still leading Sens in points....

I think that has more to do with his team than the player, I'm almost positive if Buster was in Ottawa we could say the same thing. They're just not a good organization and haven't been in a long time.
