At this point I really don't care. It's Chip's team and he knows what is the better fit. I have nightmares that Chip is going to turn this Eagles team back like the Rich Kotite years. I hope this won't be the case.

Sanchez ... Locker ... potato ... potahto ... it's not like we'd win a Super Bowl with either behind Center, so what's the difference? I'd rather have Sanchez for a game or two as he knows the Offense, but now he has some value where Locker can be had for pennies and Chip can probably do the same thing he did with Sanchez if need be.

I don't think he's was the Eagles target anyhoo, but it does help the current FA crop to have one less option out there. I think we're already in bed with Maxwell ... just have to be careful with tampering.

Looks like there's a report out there that the Eagles have made Mcourty their top priority. If we end up winning the bidding war for him, I don't think we sign Maxwell too. I just don't see us signing both at $10 mil/year each. I'd be expecting a lesser name like Chris Culliver if we don't sign Maxwell

Overpaid? Nahhh that is right in line with what he should have gotten. He was a first rd pick of the Texans, this is his 2nd contract. He is 26 years old 4 years 34 million I'd say that is about spot on.

Maybe not Culliver specifically, he does have off field issues, but a 2nd tier CB. Jackson has been re-signed but there is Cox, Tramon Williams, House, or maybe Thurmond. Antonio Cromartie would be my personal pick

There are a lot of teams with tons of cap space, and as you said, the CB Fa class is weak. You're going to have to over pay. That's why I'd rather get into a bidding war for Maxwell than McCourty. If we could sign Maxwell and another solid CB like House, we don't necessarily have to spend big at S. Searcy would be more than adequate

Rahim Moore will be cheaper than McCourty and probably not much of a drop off. But I agree that if they overpay for McCourty they likely won't overpay for Maxwell as well. If we get McCourty they will probably turn their attention to House who will be a few mil cheaper.

Rumors of McCourty being the Eagles #1 priority keep on buzzin. Like Rey said - not sure if we're going to go after both McCourty and Maxwell. Probably make a big push for McCourty and then sign a player like House. If McCourty gets blown away by another offer or Patriots decide to keep the home grown talent -- then we'll probably go all in on Maxwell, then grab Gilchrist, Moore or Searcy at Safety.

In either scenario I think Jason Worilds is also the OLB we sign.

as the top 3. I expect Maclin to sign soon. Then we'll target mid tier RB/OG and a backup QB.
