Don't get me wrong, I love Raines but after doing this draft I can see now why he isn't in. Plenty of players with better numbers other than SBs.
You lost me here, Johnny Damon does not belong in the hall...
lol, same amount of hits as raines, more homers, more runs, more rbis, plenty of SB's, batting average and OPS up there, 2 rings. If Raines gets in, Damon will too, according to the numbers Damon has better all around numbers and the OPS is only .003 apart.
If you don't think Damon's is Raines equal as a leadoff hitter, can't be any closer than that.
I don't think Johnny Damon or Tim Raines deserves the hall, would go with Dave Parker and Al Oliver ahead of them both and they are bubble guys as well.
