Yeah, it'll work but don't do it. You'll delete critical files and you'll have to reinstall or repair Windows.

Hey Sooner, I run a CC cleaner every night on the computer. It's suppose to get rid of junk and keep the computer running smoothly. Do you know if it helps against viruses and stuff?

Not really, most of the rogue software will escape removal by CC because it sets auto reload on delete if you try to remove it while running Windows. That's where MBAM comes in, it flags the file to be deleted on reboot so it can't reload itself after the registry has been fixed...

On a personal note CC is OK but Process Explorer available from Microsoft will give you info on what is really running on the PC, it's just hard to learn.
