Developmental type and the cost is minimal. He's actually kind of fun to see operate, likely gets broke but hey at the cost is worth throwing him out there in a pinch.

I never thought he would make the team anyway Eason Geno and Lock are all better than Levi is. Some people just had some major blinders on. Dude is 5 foot 9 169 pounds and ran a 4.95 40 ... come on now. We got 300+ Pound olineman that ran faster than him. I can say with little trepidation that we have most likely Posters here that are bigger stronger AND faster than this tiny and slow man.

Of course his size made it unlikely, but I disagree that Easton, Geno are any better other then they have the size needed.

Hawks I think are wanting a more pure pocket passer with athletic ability not a athletic scrambler with some limited pocket presence. I read his big issue was he had a awful hard time reading defenses pre-snap. It was his worst area.

He was quick more than fast, but yeah, definitely something they didn’t like, they wasted no time… Which tells me they’re liking Drew Lock, because we all know Geno is not a legit starter, not even close… UNLESS, they decide to make a move at some point for another QB …

He can play though, proved that in college, also he’s 5.10, 183 …

Wells (6-2, 203) comes to Blacksburg from Marshall where he served as the starting quarterback for the past two seasons. He concluded his career with the Thundering Herd after completing 460 of 715 passes (64.3%) for 5,623 yards with 34 TDs and 22 INTs. He also ran 115 times for 237 yards with nine scores.

The Charleston, West Virginia native was named the 2020 Conference USA Freshman of the Year after leading the conference with 2,091 passing yards and 18 TD passes. He became the first freshman QB to earn first-team All-Conference USA honors. He earned honorable mention all-conference accolades in 2021 after ranking 15th in the nation with 3,532 passing yards. Wells owns eight career 300-yard passing games, including a career-high 433-yard performance vs. East Carolina (9/18/21).

Wells was rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and ESPN and was ranked as the No. 8 recruit out of West Virginia by Rivals and ESPN. Wells threw for 2,538 yards and 22 TDs as a senior at George Washington High School. He also played baseball at George Washington.

T Woolen might be my favorite pic of the draft so far for the Seahawks. Dude runs at 4.26 40… 6,4” with long arms… He’s only played DB for two years so he’s only gonna get better… He also was once projected as a second round or third round pick. Could be a steel for us.
