You're being disingenuous by harping on that loss and that team. Stanford was the third best team in the Pac last season but you keep mentioning Washington st. as your reason to downplay the PAC. You do realize That Washington, Stanford, USC ,Utah and Colorado all finished ranked higher than Washington State right? And I don't get how telling me your Bg10 winner lost to an unranked team strengthens your argument.

I'm not arguing for the B10 to be higher in the rankings. I think I have them ranked 3rd in the conferences, I suppose an argument can be made for them to be lower if you would like to make that argument. Just trying to figure out how you can even compare a subdivision loss to that of a loss to an unranked team from a power 5 conference (they were a bowl team on top of that). Seriously, the 2nd place team in the Pac12 North was unranked, and lost to a subdivision team. Of course Clemson and Penn St lost to an 8-5 Pitt team, so it's basically the same thing? I'm just not following you there.

Again, I'm all for changing my mind on the Pac12. I just gave one example of why I ranked them at the bottom. I'll change my mind if you can give me a compelling reason to view them differently. I'm just struggling to find a reason.

You keep talking about Washington State to bolster your argument. There were five teams from the PAC who finished ranked higher than them.

1 game to play

SEC 2 losses

both losses to Power 5 teams. One ranked team lost to another ranked team.

Big 12 was by far the most embarrassed this first week.

Went 7-3
Texas lost = no big surprise
Baylor lost = nobody cares
WVU lost = to a good VT team very competitive .

70% of the Conference won.
60% of the Conference scored over 50 points.
100% of the Conference scored 38 points or more.

Not sure what you're looking for in week 1.

Well, Baylor shouldn't of lost that game. Texas, if you ask experts who ranked them 23rd, shouldn't of lost that game. I'll give you West Virginia. If, like you say, the Big 12 is the best conference, shouldn't at least Texas and Baylor won their games? You were hyping up the Big 12 as the greatest conference in College Football and they were on the losing side of 2 or the top 5 upsets in week 1.

Great.
The ACC has gone 10-3

4 out of 13 Teams scored 50 points or more.
4 out of 13 Teams scored 38 points or more.

Florida State got their shit pushed in.
VT looked good.
North Carolina lost to California (WTF)
NC State lost to South Carolina (WTF)

And had close calls with:
Louisville/Purdue
Pitt/Youngstown State (can't make that shit up)
Boston College/Northern Illinois

The ACC looked absolutely pathetic and you want to throw stones at the Big XII

Pittsburgh almost lost: No Surprise
Boston College almost lost: No Surprise
NC State lost: No Surprise
Florida State lost: To #1 Alabama

The ACC did look pathetic. But none lost to a non FBS team and no ranked ACC team lost to an unranked team. No comparison there, no matter how you spin it. Nice try, though.

No, just shit talking that your conference looked weak as fuck week 1. ACC looked pathetic, but not as bad as the Big 12. Best looking conference was probably the B1G or PAC.

Dude
Ohio State got manhandled by INDIANA for 3 quarters of football.
USC was getting their shit pushed in by Western Michigan.
Washington was able to get up off the mat and put away RUTGERS.
Michigan struggled with a Florida team that had half their players gone.

Baylor losing to Liberty the evangelist school was a close one to a big time power.

So
You're back to declare a winner after 1 week of football.
Think about that for a minute.
