Trading for Bortles isn't swinging for the fences. Its leaving the bat on your shoulder as you take a called third strike with 2 outs and the bases loaded.

If they do that, and I doubt they will as Bortles doesn't have the name recognition to give Snyder a woody. Though neither did Alex Smith so who knows.....fuck. I hate my fuckin team.



Trading up it could be said is the single biggest reason why the Redskins are in the position they are today. Not only are we not very good at it. We're always the one who's thirsty as fuck and don't give a damn what we give away as long as we get what we want. Or what we think we want is probably a better description. yet he was there in round 2 . and they took james washington??????????? a first round qb late in round 2? and you take a wr........then hes there again in round 3? hmmm wtf? most analysts had him as a very flawed qb. Theres a reason josh dobbs is the back up as well

That isn’t your argument. You have been saying second and third round QBs go in round 1. Rudolph wasn’t a first round grade. He may have been a second or third...guess where he went. You don’t have to reach to find a prospect.

the funny thing is we didn't have to reach. we had one we took in the 4th round. we just couldn't keep him.

with the exception of dak in 2016 there hasnt been a good qb taken outside of round 1 since 2014 with jimmy g and carr in round 2, early round 2.

you really have to go back to 2012! to find some guys in middle rounds, and rounds 2-3.........

Jimmy G went late second.

Russell Wilson went round 3.

Kirk Cousins went in the fourth.

Drew Brees went in the second.

Brady went in the sixth.

Case Keenum was undrafted.

Carr went in the second.

2013 Bills reach for Manuel. No other reaches.

2014 best two QBs were second rounders...neither a reach.

2015 no reaches and no true success.

The rest are too early to tell. If you aren’t a first rounder, you have to overcome hurdles to even get a shot.
