And to be fair, I have no problem taking Marqyise at 25 only IF Howie and Joe feel he is the bpa and they feel that they can address the other more important area that I feel are critical needs. I'm more concerned about our OL than our DL.

Yeah if Ford or Bradbury fall to them in the first then they should pull the trigger.

As much as I like Ford and would pull the trigger if he's there at25, part of me is thinking Bradbury may be the better overall player with the Eagles imo. I think if take Bradbury over Ford at this point.

Yeah I would go there,

I mean you can route both of them at multiple positions on the oline....

Though Bradbury pull technique is incredible!

See I think this wont be a "sexy draft" for the Eagles.
They need to address the lines, I mean that should be no shocker there.
I love Jason Peters, and the dude has been a beast for the Eagles, but age is catching up with him

This is what I hope happens. If Ford or Bradbury are there at 25, take one of them. If not, trade out and grab more picks. I actually liked the CBS mock from a few days ago. It had the Eagles trading 25 to the Jets for Derron Lee and I think we swapped 2nd rounders if I'm not mistaken? Lee would fit great at LB. We can draft an OL and a planking WR in round 2. I have is trading a fifth round pick to the Browns for Duke Johnson. That solves our RB issue. My prediction on draft night as well will be trading Nelly and getting probably a fourth rounder. With 3 Fourth round picks I then trade up somewhere in the third. Plenty of talent there. Michael Jordan is my dark horse pick for a later OL pick.

I don't want a RB until the 3rd (if we get a 3rd pick in trade). DE,DT,OL,WR, and then anything else that's a BPA.

Watch out for Alabama State's OT Tytus Howard being the surprise pick at 25. A lot of rumors out there that Philly is very high on him as Peters' eventual replacement with Mailata moving to Left Guard.

They could probably move back a few spots to get him imo. I think he would be a good replacement for JP eventually. I also think he will be around somewhere in the second round.

Oh my! I hope not at 25! 2nd round maybe.
that's what I was saying. I think he will be good, but I just don't see him valued as a first round grade. Just my opinion though. If we can trade out of first round and get another pick that would be great and then take him. I trust Howie and Joe. I'll be happy whatever they decide.

This will be a fun and exciting draft. Howie has something up his sleeves. And let's not forget he has freed up some money so im thinking some big and bold moves are approaching soon. For the good!

I agree. If the cap room he has is not for Carson yet, maybe a high priced free agent? Or, a trade? Most likely it is for Carson.

With all the other second tier tackles being more right side guys than left side guys he could easily be the 4th tackle off the board.

Found this from the pro day notes.

"But overall, it was reported that 30 teams were on site to evaluate, and Philadelphia Eagles OL coach Jeff Stoutland put Howard through his O-line drills. It looks more and more like Howard isn't just a draft pick, but a potentially high-end one."

The class is thin at the OT spot, a lot of G/T combos and those never really work out.
Even if they draft a kid rated as a RT it's not like they don't have a beast now that rotate over to the left side.
Plus that will occupy his time so he stays off twitter or trolling folks online! :heh:

I've been reading and hearing the same things in the last week and a half; he is actually my darkhorse pick at 25. There is a lot of buzz about him and kind of compares a bit to Lane Johnson. Don't be surprised folks if this happens!

Also quite a bit of buzz about the Eagles possibly taking Jeffery Simmons at 25 too; I know he's not popular with some on this board, and it could be lazy reporting since we took a similar profile in Sidney Jones a couple of years ago... he would redshirt this season but could be a real coup down the road. Personally I like him a lot; IMO compares to Ndamukong Suh. If he never tore his ACL, he wouldn't be anywhere near the bottom of the 1st to even consider.

I think he's a 2nd round pick, which I'm OK with that. Not @ 25, IMO.
