Btw, stay away from Florida edge Brenton Cox and tOSU edge Zach Harrison. Each turn into ghosts. Harrison is one of the fastest edge rushers in this class, but he has highly underperformed throughout his time at tOSU and will completely disappear in games just like Brenton Cox. Cox was recently dismissed from Florida this past weekend.

If Siaki Ika is still there in rd 3 or maybe even end of round 2 we need to be all over him.

He's nothing more than an out of shape run stuffer at the NT/NG position, in my opinion, even for a 3rd round pick.

You know? I am completely wrong on my take of this option. I'm good with Ika. He's a hell of a pick.

Alim needs help and competition. The Isaiah Buggs and Benito Jones type players should be a thing of the past. I think money restriction and Penisini retiring late pushed Holmes into a quick remedy.

Holmes does need to add a pass rush specialist who can also defend the run at the 3-tech position - No, Demetrious Taylor is merely a project whose best trait in CFB was pass rushing and he is still learning and has a long way to go.

Hell, all the Lions need is - not in any specific order
(1) NT
(1) 3-tech
(2) Edge Rushers
(1) MIKE LB
(1) Outside CB
(1) Nickel CB
(1) Safety
(1) QB
(1) RG
(1) OT
(1) WR
(1) TE
(1) RB

and they're rebuilding would be well on its way to a more in line retooling

For those of you who have time today, watch Tennessee QB, Hendon Hooker, versus a stout Georgia defense.
@Rob @Old Lion @Edonidd @broncosmitty @elguapo @phantomfoul88 @jayfan @Zwalt @Thruthefog

Let's see what Hooker looks like, on the road in Georgia, and against 3 likely drafted DB's not to mention the defensive front.

You'll also get to see DT, Jalen Carter's talent on display. He's almost always 1-2 ticks late off the ball. I noticed that with so many of these damn D-lineman when looking at full game clips the other day and not just DT, NT, but the Edge Rushers as well.

Can't draw anything from that game. His team was too outclassed to ever show anything

Odd stat scrolling after that game finished. Hooker endured 20 pressures from that Georgia defense yesterday and in the previous 8 games there were a total of 39 pressures.

I know the Vols O-Line did him no favors, but Hooker didn't pull the trigger when he did have an open receiver on a handful of plays and like Bryce young this year, Hooker was overthrowing deep by 3-5 yards.

Mark me down as interested in Jayden Daniels, in the third.

There exists lots of potential with Daniels. Playing in the Pac-12 and primarily under Herm Edwards might not have been the best scenario for him. Daniels is just now becoming comfortable in LSU's scheme over these last 3-4 games.

I also would be good with this choice in the third round.

Notre Dame Edge Rusher Isaiah Foskey might be an alternative if we miss out on Will Anderson. I don't have a clue as far as his production this year or prior, but he was pressuring that Clemson O-Line last night quite a bit and holding the edge against the run.

To be honest, I didn't get to watch a ton of the Tennessee game, but Hooker seemed rattled by the pressure. Can't say that is shocking facing that defense.

I'd draft Georgia QB Stetson Bennett before I'd draft Bryce Young. There's more to that ailing shoulder of his than meets the subjective eye test. Bryce wasn't right from the very first snap of the first game this season and that quote that Saban made regarding how Young has had this issue several times before makes me believe it goes back to spring workouts.

I simply don't see where time off will completely heal that AC joint sprain and not become an ever-present issue once he gets into the NFL.

I dont know why, but I get the heebie jeebies thinking about us drafting him. I just dont like him, has bust written all over him. Stroud, Levis and a few others are all way above him in my opinion
