Game Thread: Miami Heat Week 1 Game Thread

One of you said you wanted just a weekly thread for games. Here it is. Will post relevant stuff to these games as they become available. Season starts October 29th vs Wizards, and the first week ends Novemember 5th vs Charlotte. So division games to start and end the week. During this stretch, there will be 5 games, it will start and end with a division opponent. Good way to get a rhythm going to start the season. Lets enjoy this season as it will be as fun and interesting as any. No more high caliber ego on this team that often negatively influences the rest of the team. Oh, and no Shane Battier - that always make things better. LOL I am kidding... I wont be so mean to him anymore now that he is doing something useful since his days at Duke.

Excited for the season. McRoberts on inactive list for tomorrow night. It gives us a little more continuity for the 4 games in 5 nights and we can ease him in slower and change the look of our team. Important for us to get off to a 2-0 start. Will be in the house tomorrow!

I always thought Rio would be a better 2-guard then being a PG. I like the move by the staff. Time for Norris Cole to step up.

Should be an exciting season. I understand losing Lebron means as a team you take a step backwards, but i dont see why the media has us taking such a huge leap backwards. i actually see this team as having more depth and can be solid. i dont see us losing that much ground in the east..
