If you honestly believe 4 straight finals and back to back championships is failure, then you really are an idiot. LeBron said he was going to win 8.. yet signed a 6 year deal with an opt out at 4 years. Clearly, he was talking shit.

For what it's worth. I hope we fail over the next 4 years again. I'll take two titles.

Has game management become a Miami Heat failing? - Sun Sentinel

Yet another idiotic Ask Ira where the blame is tried to be placed on coaching rather than player execution - It is kinda sad and laughable how much blame has been tried to be placed on coaching rather than on player execution - just maybe had it been placed in the right place, we would actually be getting different results. Food for thought

While it's not Spoelstra's fault that this team had no perimeter shooting, it is horrible coaching if you are drawing up plays that result in UD and Bird ever shooting 3's.

Yes, missing out on the playoffs is essentially like losing in the finals - You play to win the game, if you dont win the ultimate game of the year ( finals championship) you did absolutely NOTHING. You failed. Just like the Heat did in their Big 3 Era - they failed - they were going for not 6, not 7 - And SETTLED for 2 out of 4... FAILED!

Total nonsense.
You can't win championships every year, but you can still have a good, entertaining team.

"It's not always who's the most talented team, but who can stay the healthiest. We weren't able to do that this year. We lost some games that hurt us. There are going to be games that we think about, that if the chips don’t fall for us these last two games, where we had opportunities." -

-- Dwyane Wade

See, even Diva himself realizes how much injuries have been an issue. He should - considering how many games he SAT OUT for no reason this season

UD and Birdman > Diva Wade at 3pt shooting - and they actually take better ones. What is horrible coaching is giving the ball to Diva for the final shot and letting him settle for 3

I doubt that Spoelstra ever draws up a 3 pt shot for Wade.
Difference he is a natural perimeter player so it's more natural for him to get the ball in that position.

I agree though that all 3 are terrible options. There are no "better ones".

Wade and WHiteside should rest tomorrow to get that 10th pick locked up

If they don't, they are very stupid.

You CANNOT take any chance on moving up to 9th because of a tiebreaker.

It should be R&R for Wade,G. Dragic, Whiteside the next 2 games.

Let Z. Dragic run with Tyler, Beasley, Thomas and Burnie at this point.

We need to tank. Rest all the starters. We could be officially eliminated tonight. I think Boston wins as Cleveland likely rests LeBron. The best thing for the Miami Heat right now is a higher draft pick and to get a young guy on the cheap for the next 4 years.. likely the bulk of Wade's remaining career. Resign Dragic.. get Bosh healthy. Bring in a 3 point specialist and a backup SG. We really aren't that far away with our starting lineup (when healthy) an easy top 5 unit in the league.

You are probably correct - Which speaks to how much of a Diva , Diva Wade truly is - The coach draws up a great play for you to run, but instead Diva wants to go out there and freelance to get his and it hurts the team. Typical Diva

Some idiot named Andre in here thinks the opposite. He thinks certain guys dont want to be on the team anymore and doesnt acknowledge injuries as a real reason for the current state of the Heat. While everyone else does, of course

A lot of attempts came from Hassan, but still , the Heat went 24-44 from the line last night - But, go ahead , Andrea, keep blaming the coaches for the loss - instead of the players even when there are countless telling stats that prove its on them.

You actually don't need twitter to read tweets from our writers.

Basically every beat writer page is public so if you just google Ira Winderman twitter for example it would take you straight to his page and you can check out his tweets

But I'll continue to post tweets from our guys because it is fun and give us differnt topics to discuss

So only one way for Heat to get in: Heat win both remaining, Nets lose both remaining, Indy lose both remaining, 3-way 37-45 tie to Heat.

Spoelstra says "everybody is available . . . . you've got to play it out." He references beating the lesser odds with the win in Orlando.

Spoelstra also cites “some of the home games have not gone the way we wanted it to," says "we owe them our best effort tonight."

Per Ira Winderman
So the Heat want to put on their best performances of the season at home in front of our lousy fan base on a night a win might be as irrelevant as ever. Perfect. Thats how you troll these fools
