There goes Fiorentino again pointing out execution being what caused the team here - nothing else - oh, and missing 20 FTs, sadly most by Hassan but also by Diva missing clutch FTs as only he can

Spolestra thanking Wade that he will get at least one more season. Love how our coach adjusted to Williams.

Told you guys we would not make the playoffs. 10 games under 500. Great coaching. A team with Deng, Whiteside, Dragic, and Wade down the stretch. The unfortunate part is that we have Spolestra. 11-0 run in the 4th quarter cost us. Could not stop the run and get an easy basket. They can't run plays at the end. Even with Wade's 30 and Hassan's double/double, they could not overcome Spolestra and his poor substitution patterns, rotations and decisions!

Spolestra first coach since 2005 Lakers to miss the playoffs after making the finals. 4 Straight finals...

Comical...Tyler Johnson is still in there. At least he hit that meaningless three!! Great going coach. The Heat should show the fans some appreciation and fire Spolestra....

Even worse, what they couldnt overcome is not having much behind their washed up, over-paid, overrated, Diva starting SG constantly costing the team.

But this is nothing to whine about. The quicker our season ends, the quicker the end of the Diva era comes to an end and thats really great

Whats sad and comical is that you are the only one here who feels this way - but you are an idiot of course.

The Heat showed their apperciation for the fans with another 4th quarter collapse led by Diva Wade missing key FT - not a better way to show apperication for a lousy fan base then with the performance we just watched.

LOL. The guy who had 30, points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to just one turnover? The guy with averaging 21 points per game, close to five assists, and 4 rebounds per game and over 1 steal a game? The guy shooting over 47%? Yeah that guy sucks............

I am not the only one who feels this way. Wade and Lebron have in the past privately and publiclly been critical of Spolestra and his coaching. The beat writers are picking up on it as they see the day to day truth. The national media like you still gives him a pass as he has won two titles. However, some might say that with the Heat in the East and with Lebron, Wade adn Bosh in their prime, perhaps more could have been done during such 4 years. Trust me, if he does not get an offensive assistant, he may be gone sooner than later.

Also, don't be surprised if some of our key players bolt.

Again, your stupidity begs the question, what behind the scenes access do you have to know what is said privately?

Furthermore, outside of KoMe Bryant, Diva Wade and Queen James are the biggest divas in the NBA , if not all of sports - what they say has little to no credibility - especially when its something negative towards a coach , front office or even fellow/former teammates - because all divas like them do is throw others under the bus as opposed to take responsibility themselves.

Another part where you are wrong is, the national media is the last two give him a “pass” if anything, the local media does so, but they do so within reason, accurately and based on facts.

Help needed from Nets, Celtics and Pacers now - making the playoffs would only be great because it would get this bandwagon filled fan base back on the bandwagon only to break their hearts again and that is just great

yes, your girl Diva Wade scored 30 points but only shot 9-20 from the field - made one lucky 3 and missed another - he had no business shooting either one . missed 3 FTs and committed 4 fouls, most often because he was too lazy, as always, to get back on defense - he is left trailing and has to foul as that is the only way he can stop an oppnent at this stage in his career.

So, yeah great he scored 30 points - he wasnt efficient enough and still missed a costly amount of shots

Its over clown. Don't think the Heat can even beat the Magic right now with this coaching staff and you would need 2 of those three teams to lose all of their three games. Not happenning unless somehow Spolestra coaches the Celtics, Pacers and Nets these last 3 games!!!

LOL. Time to lose the final two and finish with a top ten pick. Maybe....just maybe Spolestra can finish in the bottom ten in the league.. Although he probably screws that up too.

LOL. Spolestra had a line up of Chalmers, Johnson, Beasley, Ennis and Birdman during the deciding 11-0 run....comical. Quite comical. Yes short handed, but why not at least have Dragic, Hassan, Deng or Wade or two of them in at all times??

As always, you forget the affect of injuries - When so many guys are injured , you are forced to go to lineups you otherwise wouldnt. What you seem to also forget, as some others in here have - some players need rest during the course of a game, if certain guys werent getting periods of rest, you would be complaining about that as well - that is the problem when you are short-handed... Guys get tired , especially at this point in the season - especially after the season the Heat have had with injuries.

Yeah, no Scrub Battier - no championship - just like last year we had Scrub Battier and no championship - speaks to how irrelevant of a player he has been since he left Duke

You obviously have issues reading. My point on the rotations and substitution patterns was not about resting guys. It was about the guys he has on the court together. You can rest your starters. Just don't rest them all at the same time. Stagger it a bit. The 11-0 run without a single starter was telling. This late in the season and he is still experimenting. LOL. Worked with Lebron, Bosh and Wade to cover his warts but not when the best player on the planet is not on the team.

Oh, and now truly showing your intelligence. So under your logic, missing the playoffs is the same thing as losing in the NBA finals? Shane was here three years and delivered two championships. Wade was has been here 11 and delivered 3 championships and 5 NBA Finals appearances! Don't keep supporting the wrong people in the organization and OPEN YOUR EYES!!!

Has game management become a Miami Heat failing? - Sun Sentinel

Yet another idiotic Ask Ira where the blame is tried to be placed on coaching rather than player execution - It is kinda sad and laughable how much blame has been tried to be placed on coaching rather than on player execution - just maybe had it been placed in the right place, we would actually be getting different results. Food for thought

Yes, missing out on the playoffs is essentially like losing in the finals - You play to win the game, if you dont win the ultimate game of the year ( finals championship) you did absolutely NOTHING. You failed. Just like the Heat did in their Big 3 Era - they failed - they were going for not 6, not 7 - And SETTLED for 2 out of 4... FAILED!
