Langenbrunner vs Zubrus: Who Deserves to Go?

I've campaigned often my disliking of Langebrunner so this isn't really a tough one on any basis as far as the decision of who should go in my mind.

That said i see no way at all that Langs is going anywhere. Zubrus is gone. imo obviously.

Keep Zubrus for his size and versatality.

I actually expected Langenbrunner to be a 3rd liner by this point in his career a couple years ago. He really made the most of his time with Parise/Zajac. That being said, his trade value is at an all time high and I don't see his production coming close to what it has been these past couple years now that he's part of the B line.

a move is definately coming but this tells me that lou is set on doing it through trade not the waiver wire unless he absolutely has to

I signed up a while ago but nobody used the board so I forgot about it. I then went without internet for the second half of the summer so I stopped posting.

Nevertheless, new season has come around so I'm back to posting again.

but how? that'd have to wait til the end of the season really when his cap hit goes way down for us, and rolston would have to be a part of it too. either that or 2 players becaue we'll still need salary to fill out the roster

Zubrus equals bust. He has never fully taken advantage of his size and has definitely not lived up to where he was picked in the draft. He also can go ages without scoring which is something we don't need in NJ anymore.

This isn't even close. Langs would laugh at being compared to Zubrus lolol

There was a trade rumor a while back, I think it was Eklund, but I'm not sure. It had the Devils sending Rolston, Langenbrunner, plus a 1st rd pick to Toronto for Kaberle. Toronto would bury Finger in the minors.

I thought Toronto was in cap hell as well? (Although I think we are on a slightly different level of hell.) Rolston + Langs =/= Kaberle, as far as money is concerned.
