They are all backup QBs. I would take any of their lower salaries.

he is to the qb conversation and qb budget none of the guys you listed above would win games , they are just bodies that offer no competition to the position

He supposedly played well in Cleveland, and his stats are pretty good.

His salary is a non issue to be perfect honest -$8m instead of $4m when Daniel Freakin’ Jones got himself $40m for mediocrity.

I still hope the team drafts a qb.

Never been a huge fan of Jacoby, might have wanted Darnold.

But I aint going to stress it too much. I get the feeling he fits what the new OC wants in a QB, so it might have been a little pricey. But its a one year deal.

There is no QB budget.

Rush had a better ecord than the other two, You can’t prop up TH with his record and then denigrate Rush who had a better record.

Both offer competition but neither would command veteran favoritism, especially from a RR.

I think he was winning when people didn’t think he was going to, but it still wasn’t very many games so it seems like more games. I think he may have won a few games during the year that Brady was suspended for four? So people thought that Brady was going to come back with an uphill battle and instead he came back to a good situation.

Agree here and Minshew would have been half the price. Hopefully he never see's a down and IF he does, we lose every game he plays to improve our chances of drafting another top QB. That money could be spent smarter elsewhere imo.

Signing the Brissett was a show that they have faith in Howell. The move is growing on me because it shows that they are not expecting him to fail.

As a sacrifice, I will have to smoke a Brisket every Sunday during the season to hope that Howell stays on the field and its the only Brisket I see during the game.
