This nonsense.

The Bad Boys
Early 90s Knicks
1993 Suns
The 97/98 Jazz weren't great? I guess the 2018 Celtics missing their 2 best players are better ROLFLMAO!!!!!!
1998 Pacers
1996 Sonics
1996 Magic

The list goes on of great teams MJ bested. Any of these teams would sleepwalk through the toilet known as the EC the past few years

The 96 Sonics were the best team Jordan faced in the Finals and Stern ordered Nate McMillan to get "injured" so Jordan could win another title. With Nate for the whole series, Jordan is 5-1 in the Finals.

Sorry, but no.

No team from the entire 90s decade stood a legit chance against the '96 Bulls.

Had the Sonics chosen any other year, you might have a case. Not '96.

Jordan lucked out playing in the shitty eastern conference or that tainted wins record doesn't happen. Had they played in the west they get 50.

Right.

You do realize were 25-3 against West teams that year, right?

Of course not.

Keep on homering.

It took him what 4 years to beat the Bad boys??? Lol the C’s and Pistons dominated.
And the Magic eliminated him one year?

If the Sonics or the Jazz were the best championship teams he faced...Lebron has faced several title teams harder. 3 different years vs the Spurs and 3 different years vs the Warriors. That’s 6 of his 8 appearances LOL

Those Jazz teams in the late 90's shouldn't be slept on. Malone and Stockton are one of the best duos in NBA history.

No doubt.

But, by 98 Malone was 35 and Stockton 36.

They were probably the best team Jordan faced, but, still not as good as the Spurs or Warriors that detractors blast LeBron for losing to.

The East was the power conference in the 90's. It's teams Jordan had to beat on a regular basis and also through the playoffs.

Vice versa with LeBron's reign in the East. His teams are the superior ones in a weak conference while the West is stacked.

That isn't true.

The East was seen as the power conference because of 1 team. They had the Bulls. The West won both titles when MJ played baseball and won again in '99.

Beyond Chicago, the other East teams were not better than the top teams from the West.

Probably not. The 07 Spurs he had a legit reason of losing to - that Spurs squad was in their prime and at the apex of their dynasty. In 2015, he was a man on an island. The problem is, a lot of Lebron's losses in the Finals particularly in years 2014 and 2017 is that they were by a considerable margin. And in those losses, he had comparable talent to the opposition.

Heat
Knicks
Pacers
Pistons
Magic
Hornets

These teams throughout the 90s were pretty darn solid overall.

The West had the Jazz, Sonics, Rockets.

Looking at it, the NBA overall was just filled with much better teams across the board in the 90s when Jordan was reigning.

Very solid. None of them great. The Magic would have been if they grew up together. None of them even very good. A couple of the West teams were at least very good.

No he didn't though.

At least not true losses in Cleveland. GS was worlds better last year and they will be again this year if we get part 4.

The 2 losses in Miami for sure were against comparable talent. Dallas was clearly inferior talent wise.

I don't see the point in bring up the ages of Malone and Stockton (BTW, Malone didn't turn 35 until late July well after the Finals had ended) when the Bulls were old too (Jordan 35, Pippen 32, Rodman 37, Harper 34 etc.)

As far as the best team he faced in the Finals, Utah is in the discussion, but I would also put the '96 Sonics and the '92 Blazers up there with those Jazz teams and the '93 Suns would be too, IMO if Cedric Ceballos had been healthy for the Finals I believe the Suns and the '91 Lakers were actually favored to beat the Bulls in the Finals, IIRC.

The Suns were not favored.

The Lakers possibly, but because of their history. Bulls had the vastly superior team.

All those teams were very good. None of them were great. The Warriors and Spurs were great.
