I mean 24-7 reg season over the past 2 years, strong completion percentage, good yards. Strong TD numbers, and low turnovers............

Not sure Goff is a Top 15 QB tbh.

He has no shot of ever reaching Wilson's level imo.

I like Goff. A lot? Man it’s been weird. Regular season sure. He’s young I’ll give him that and his coach goes Mike Martz at times... but to lose 1 weapon (Kupp) and then get shutdown late in the season makes me a little paranoid. Russ has had far fewer weapons at WR imo and still got the Seahawks to the playoffs
I'd take Murray over Goff. Midget status and all.

You have to F Goff with that shit:suds:
Goff looked like Jay Cutler on a bad day in the playoffs last year. Especially in the SB. Dude is a deer in the headlights QB. For SJ to say Cooper Kupp is what makes or breaks Goff is absolute comedy.

Remember kid was only 24, one of the youngest ever in a SB. I think he will end up being real good , once all is said is done. Not Kurt Warner good, which brought both your programs to the SB, but enough if the D can stay healthy and intact with Donald staying there

Do a straight up trade, the Rams are instant SB contenders and the Seahawks would be looking at a top 10 draft pick.

Well we know he’s young and we also don’t have to worry about AZ for awhile.
Both may be true.

However, based on you comments, it seems as if you are not all that confident in Goff either.

Who is your SB pick?

Let me see, in the regular season without Kupp, Goff outplayed H2H Rodgers, Wilson, Mahomes in Wins, and Foles in a loss.

In the post season Divisional Game, Dak outplays Goff in a loss, but Gurley & CJ went off for over 200, so the Rams' really didn't need much from the QB spot to win.

Brees and Goff, play to a near draw stats wise, but Goff should get the nod due to the late OT Brees turnover. In the Saints final drive, Flower made a great spin move and Brees should have ate the sack, it was only second down.

In the Superbowl, Brady outplays Goff, but it's not by much, maybe 30 more passing yards. The differences in offense was the Pats running game. It Run game wasn't even close, that balance attack affords Brady greater opportunity but he still didn't do much more vs to veteran coaches who had 2 weeks to prepare (And I'm talking Wade vs Bill of course)

Bottom line, save Mahomes, those are NFL's elite Vet QB's, were talking about, and Goff stacked up well, without Kupp. Hell, that KC game was a beaut! And it was without Cooper.

Sure, put this guy here and that guy there, who the hell knows.

Fact is, Goff is a pocket passer, and much like Brees, Brady and Rodgers, Goff given time in a down, and he will find his way to some impressive wins. Given some his career, and he may become that guy who steps up like he failed to do vs Chicago & Philly last season.

Like I said, wait and see. Goff could learn and grow from failure or be like Andy Dalton 2.0 but he is way too young to say anything for sure. Long way to go.
For now, RW has all the intangibles that aren't on a stat sheet as well and I truly believe we have yet to see the best of Wilson. I think in the next few years, he is going to bring at least 1 more championship to Seattle and will be on a steady rise to the HOF.
