He should be a lot cheaper than hankins. Hankins is going to get paid b/c of his age.

And Hankins is regarded as a better player at this point. Williams was cut to save just over $3 million for the season. That's not a sign that he was highly regarded. And even though he's light for a NT, he's not a factor as a pass rusher. Ya get what ya pay for. Williams seems to have hit his peak in 2015 - when he had several good moments in the post-season with Denver. Seems like Hankins is a real good player, while Williams would be an adequate place-holder.

I think Williams would be an upgrade. I remember him being pretty good on Denver.

Hankins was a stud when he played for the Giants. Dont remember seeing him last year though.

Although I am with @Sharkinva. Can’t never have enough big uglies. If Vea or Payne or an OL is the BPA at that spot, then take em.

Then you dont force the pick. If they are both gone, it likely means the top ILB, Edge, OL or god forbid QB is sitting in our lap.

Williams was a 1st round draft pick who, as I remember, was pretty damn good on a very impressive Broncos line.

I admit I have no idea how he performed last season or even care if it was 1 down year.

Probably the only thing I have confidence in regarding the redskins is Callahan and Tomsula

his play has deteriorated since then , beef is he doesnt get off blocks well
