Well this is it, this is the last dress rehearsal and I think we can all agree that what we have seen on the field has been piss poor. There has been really nothing at all great and very little good to say the least this preseason. No stand outs, no sparkplugs. Tackling has been poor, Defense has been Bad and Special teams is horrendous and the offense is just a big joke, it really is offensive. Last chance for the Hawks to show some life and it's against a good Dallas team, should be fun or a blow out lol.

Pete gave Geno the start again ( Of course he did ) but said Lock will play a lot. That means nothing unless it's with the #1 Pete ZERO!

Anyone see the video of Aaron Donald hitting Bengals players with a Bengals helmet? My god! Myles Garrett got 6 games but Donald's was WAY WORSE! he was hitting repeatedly and not just one person over and over he should get a full 16 game suspension!

Yeah, the players wearing Seahawks uniforms for the first 2 fake games have looked pretty bad...but does it indicate how the real players will perform? I still think it's going to be a rough season, but it's not based on the performances of guys like Darwin Thompson and Cade Johnson. We're in for a rough ride because we are substandard at QB, but I am positive we'll look a little better on offense with DK Metcalf, Lockett, Penny, etc. than what we saw with STers in the huddle. I am not worried about the new DC's scheme when he's not putting many of the key players on the field in a game that we won't remember after tonight. The defense may very well not be good, but it won't be up to Josh Jones and Shelby Harris. But yeah, with Geno Smith as our QB, the expectations are very modest.

A couple weeks ago I considered going to the game tonight since I only live about 40 minutes away now, but meh. I may catch some of it live on tv, maybe just watch the replay later. Hopefully no serious injuries.

Ok, Geno may be done, so I'll give a little review of that drive.

He did have some ok plays. His passes, even when dropped didn't seem to have much zip and looked like he was throwing medicine balls. 2 first downs to Lockett were nice to see, those routine throws are 85% of his job and so getting them there on time is encouraging.

Despite the praise from the announcers for the audible, I can't credit calling an outside run right into a safety blitz that loses a yard. The sack was bad, as he stared down his receiver and held the ball before bailing backward and losing even more yards.

overall, despite what looked like good protection for the drive, he seemed to look to leave the pocket on about 1/2 of the pass plays. he looked mediocre, which is what I would've expected from him. Not upset with his performance, he was Geno. He played better than his stat line would indicate - though not as well as the announcers seems to think he played.

The pass before that was lucky he his feet taken out as the players in position for that pass were in white as well. Not a good start if he wants to take over Geno - and he may have just lost the job with that (Pete doesn't seem to want Lock to start, and so it's up to Lock to take the job - which that's not how you do it).
